First time visiting and we found the food to be delicious, with large portions. Staff was very helpful with choices meeting our food allergies. We will definitely return.

We had a delicious meal at Namaste in Palo Alto! We are regulars at Namaste in Los Gatos, but hadn't been to the Palo Alto location. We had eggplant dish and chicken tandoori with naan. The food tasted great. Our server was attentive and courteous. I tried the mango laasi drink, which I had never had before, and loved it! Our chicken flavor were scrumptious but a couple of pieces were not as tender as the rest. We explained it to our server, and because of the inconsistency, he removed the Laasi from our bill! That was so nice of him! We did not expect that to happen, and appreciated his gesture. We will certainly be back!

The restaurant was cold due to front door being open for outdoor service. The stunning hand carved copper water pitchers are pretty, but not functional and drip the water on the other items on the table (food, other beverages) when being used. The pitchers should be wiped before use or the restaurant should provide water bottles as most restaurants have been doing past COVID. Not many restaurants are left that pour water from a communal jug.

Old restaurant look and feel. Inside is very claustrophobic. Service levels were tolerable and so was food.

The only two things I’d like to point out is that there was a staff member in front of the door which kinda felt like he was there to stop your entry and when I asked him if you have a bar he told me no but failed to mention that they serve wines and beers. And the servicing staff was a little eager to serve the main food while we were still working on our appetizers. Other than that it was fantastic food, absolutely gorgeous ambiance and lovely waiting staff.

Different in a good way from your typical korma and vindaloo. In fact , I don’t think I even saw those items on the menu. Highly recommend

Great overall but dal makhni too heavy and not that tasty. They need to include a light dal and definitely a sabji in base offering. The salad is too small, there is no vegetables at all.

What an amazing experience! We ordered Corn malai tikki, samosa and shashlik paneer in Appetisers. All of them were really good! In main course we ordered veg biriyani, malai kofta and shahi paneer along with garlic naan. Veg biriyani was amazing, I just couldn’t stop eating it. Malai kofta was amazing too! I loved it so much that I did not even taste shahi paneer but everyone said it was good too! More than the food service was exceptional which is why I will definitely come here again. The staff was very kind and friendly! Really enjoyed the whole experience.

Namaste offers a variety of Thali’s at lunch & we enjoyed three different ones, lamb, chicken & saag. I will go back to experience their dinner menu.
