This is a very convenient place for a pre-concert / pre-show dinner. The staff was pleasant and the atmosphere nice for conversation and laughter. Their sake recommendations were fantastic - I recommend asking for the server’s opinion on which to choose. We arrived shortly before 6 had several appetizers and shared several sushi rolls. We finished at an easy pace and made it across the street to the performance by 7:10. A very nice experience.

Had the Waygu beef flatiron steak and was superb! My fiancee had the scallops and said it was the BEST scallop she had had in a long time.... Great spot before the show. Don't like it that the speakeasy in the back (ACAI) is bottle service only so went on to Ginger's and spent $180 there. Apparently they do not need the money.

We were there to celebrate to a friends birthday and everything was perfect. Jake is the most amazing waiter and we absolutely loved him!!

We love Mesume! Consistently top notch! It’s always a dining experience. Terrific service, and knowledgeable and heartfelt staff. Interesting specials, amazing drinks (gotta love those Suntory smoked old fashioneds).

We had a great experience at Musume and I know Sushi is expensive. That being said, I feel the pricing at Musume is over the top and I will probably not be going back. I had booked outdoor seating and when I saw the seating and tables and chairs I opted for indoor - the seating did not fit the price point of the restaurant.

Customer service is top notch! Limited on their vegetarian items, but overall delicious. Shout out to Harold for explaining all of the vegetarian dishes and providing recommendations 🙂 I had the crispy tofu, Harold special, and the spicy stir fry (very spicy). My husband had the Morgan role and crab fried rice (loved both). We also had saki flights, which were a great sample of different types. Would definitely go back!

Food was pretty solid (minus sashimi that was not that fresh) but wait staff was not efficient and seemed often confused at what was ordered for whom and not polished enough for the price points of this restaurant. Further the wine selected from the wine list was not available and a much cheaper bottle from the same winery was offered but at the same price. The owner came to our table to explain the mix up but but would not discount the substitute bottle even though we know the exact cost of the bottles (as club members of the winery) and were nowhere close to the same quality. The owner also was abrupt and not customer oriented all while wearing a grungy tee shirt to come to our table and address our the issue. The atmosphere was underwhelming with little energy and definitely not the type of crowd you'd expect at a premium "establishment." We will be shocked if they remain open through the year based on the over priced food and lackluster customer experience - there are too many better Asian/sushi restaurants exploding f in this city to support this business.

Khalil provided us with another exceptional experience. He met us at the table and took care of ordering for our party of 4. Every plate was perfect. The wine selection he chose was outstanding. This is the best venue in Dallas if you have refined taste.

Chase was incredible. The amuse bouche was a beautiful introduction to the meal. Scallops were perfectly cooked and paired wonderfully with the Brussel leaves and sweet potato. Dash more salt though. The karage style chicken in the bun and the beet salmon with mascarpone and dill were true standout stars and the mousse cake with miso Carmel was amazing. Truly a remarkable evening - thank you

Overall had a good experience at the restaurant. The rice with crab was excellent. My fiancé and I ordered cocktails recommended by our waiter and he didn’t disappoint with his recommendations. Our rolls were also great, but nothing to brag about imo.

The food was very good. Didn't know exactly what to order so the server recommended some items. They were all very delicious and our service was great. Wife and I went to celebrate finding out we are having a girl and the server gave us some mocktails for the occasion.

I do not have enough adjectives to describe the outstanding excellence of this restaurant. This was our second time to visit and it absolutely does not disappoint. Our waiter was incredible and attentive, glasses and drinks were kept full. His suggestions were appropriate to the family style of meal we selected for our table (we ordered mostly Maki). One high point of note is that pickled wasabi should be a flavor that lives in everyone's life! We are incredibly grateful for a wonderful pre-funk before each of our opera nights and will be returning soon to try the next revolution of their ever changing menu.

Went for our son’s 21st birthday dinner. The table next us to had a team of servers, I’m guess management including ie the guy in the blue suit with adidas and the other guy in the blue suit with Nikes. I’m sure the table next to us must have been some kid of VIP table but as far as a hospitality aspect it would have been nice for one of them to say “happy birthday” it totally put us off an won’t be back. Overall our waiter was nice, food was slow. And overpriced.

The food was outstanding and creative. The personalized service was refreshing and appreciated. Edith was knowledgeable and attentive and prompt with our food and cocktail order. The owner, Calil, took the time to greet us and personally make a wine suggestion, which was excellent. Loved the DJ, it added to the great vibe. We will definitely be recommending and returning.

This was our third time dining at Musume. As in the past, the food was excellent. Service was disappointing however. It was probably due to what I assume was a staffing issue in the kitchen. Our server asked if we were attending the opera after dinner which we were. But our wait for meals was very long. My wife’s order was brought out first. I waited around 10 minutes for mine. It pretty much wrecked our experience. I don’t blame the waiter..in fact I tipped him well. But overall, it was a less than satisfying experience this time. I’m not saying we won’t return again, but it will be awhile.
