The food and beverage choices, preparation, taste and presentation is outstanding! The service is great and all servers are well prepared to answer questions related to food choices. The restaurant is pricey but it’s worth visiting on special occasions!

I always enjoy dining at Mussafer. The concept is amazing. The food is delicious. The service is professional and top class. The drinks are very creative and well presented. Definitely a top recommendation for me if looking for a good Indian restaurant in Houston

I highly recommend this for any special occasion. The atmosphere is amazing with several different rooms each with their own unique look. The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. This was a great romantic dinner for two but could also be a lively dinner party for a larger group. The food and flavors were excellent.

Our foid was great. Garth our waiter was fantastic. He carefully explained every dish we had a question about and how it was prepared. We had a great time. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Well, whenever Humberto is present, the whole experience goes top notch. I always say making good food is not that hard , but it has to be served with love and experience only then the chromed has a good time. Humberto knows that chemistry . Thank you Humberto!

Our second time dining at Musaafer. The tasting menu is definitely the best way to experience the many cultures of India. The ambience is inviting. One word of caution: do not sit in the large room with tile floor! Way too noisy!!!

Musafeer is my favorite restaurant in Houston. From the moment you walk in you are immediately transported to a distant mesmerizing land. One is welcomed so graciously at the front desk and the excitement build from there on. It’s a perfect place to take guests if you want to give them a beautiful evening to remember forever. The ambience is gorgeous, food just divine and the presentation stunning! You will not be disappointed.

Hands down, the best restaurant in Houston. The cocktails are inventive, delicious, and boozy (if you desire!). The presentation of all meals is so unique. I highly recommend the pani puri appetizer. Save room for the Gulab dessert, in which the waiters turns a chocolate rose into ganache at tableside. We were celebrating an anniversary, and the staff gave extra attention to make the evening romantic and special with champagne and a card. The menu rotates seasonally, we will definitely be back.

The food was not good at all ! The service was awful felt like we were being rushed out the restaurant and for my tab to be 750$ the service should have been better , overall we were celebrating my moms birthday and nothing was as expected . Specially for it being our first time

We celebrated our anniversary at Musaafer. It was sublime. From the service to the food to the yummy cocktails. It was perfection. My favourite was the Goan sea bass curry. I could have quite happily dipped the light and fluffy bullet naans in the spicy coconut sauce all evening! So moreish!!!

We have been to Musaafer so many times but last night was superb, we were celebrating our daughters engagement and Sarah B, was the most knowledgeable, personable waitress we have ever had, and we eat out a lot. She made the whole experience all that much more magical. To rare 5 stars is not enough… we rate this a 10 star. And the food and presentation was amazing. Thank you!

This was an experience never to be repeated again. First, food was good... when we got it. And that's it for good. This is an extremely loud place. I had to lean in to hear my spouse across the 2-person table. Fake candles for a place that charges $20 for gin and tonic? You call that ambiance? Service was the worst considering prices and pretense of the place. We ordered drinks and appetizers and a main course. Main course took over an hour (yes, OVER AN HOUR). Waitress came over at one time to apologize that it was taking so long. And then came the entree - it was NOT what we ordered. So to summarize, we waited over an hour for a WRONG entree. Manager came over, introduced himself and asked how we were doing. Let that sink in for a minute... he KNEW what was wrong and how we were doing. That was utterly disingenuous and a slap in the face. He then proceeded to tell us chef was hurrying up with a correct entree order. We canceled it and ordered a mushroom dessert (reason I actually picked this restaurant). Dessert came within 10 minutes, we ate it and asked for the cheque. Yes, dessert was comped, but the kick in the gut was a MANDATORY 20% gratuity. For 2 people! 20% on $20 gin and tonics? 20% on being slapped and kicked by service? Needless to say, you do not get what you pay for. I am sure you can get food of the same quality elsewhere in Houston which has so many other wonderful options where you do not waste your evening and do not get slapped and kicked. We will not grace Musaafer with our presence if we can help it and would absolutely advise everyone and anyone else to avoid it as well. Did I mention it was my birthday yesterday? Restaurant knew about it.

This is our 2nd time and just amazing! The ambience is you being transported to India. The flavors and smells are just incredible. The food is out of this world! My husband who is not a huge fan of Indian curries and coconut loves the food here! If you want to be transported to India this is where you need to go.

This was our first visit and definitely won’t be our last. It was a culinary delight and informative in addition to the delicious food. Our server, Rochey, was a pleasure to deal with and a wealth of information as we enjoyed each course. His knowledge assisted in truly enjoying the evening.

Love this place. Nice vibe/atmosphere! Food and service are excellent. High quality all around. Cocktails done nicely. Love the whole experience here. It was my second time & would return again. Our faves-the octopus appetizer, and the lamb dish Nihari.

Everything was spectacular! Justin was phenomenal and Chef Mayank out did himself! My cousin was visiting from DC and she is a vegetarian and said I could pick the restaurant, and I knew that Musaafer was the perfect place! Thank you Musaafer staff and Shammi and Mithu for a great experience!
