Loved the restaurant and our server Andre was amazing! The food is wonderful the servings are delicious and the staff is very accommodating. Love the atmosphere and the vibe.

I can't say this was a bad restaurant. It was just kind of "meh". I found it neither offensive nor exciting. Again, meh. Companion had linguini and clams which he described as "good, but not noteworthy". I had a hamburger which came with fries. Burger was o.k., perhaps a bit overcooked (yes, I get the undercooked thing, but well-done isn't necessary. Medium will be fine.) The fries might have been fabulous....crispy exterior with perfectly cooked interior and no grease...except for the fact they had been vastly over-salted. I left most of them. It is a pretty enough restaurant, but not the "prettiest one in Iowa", as the article we read declared. I know many prettier ones in the area. If we open up the whole state, that becomes an even higher bar. On the basis of this article, we booked another "prettiest restaurant in each state" in a couple weeks in our own state. Knowing the area where this restaurant is located, we feel fairly certain we'll be totally in agreement about it's "prettiness". Mulberry St Tavern simple did not meet the mark on either atmosphere or food.

My son and I ate here for Mother’s Day. Our server was very polite and professional. The food was delicious and the ambiance was very pleasant. The wood siding in the dining area is beautiful. The noise level allowed us to have a decent conversation, which is important to us both. Was a great place to celebrate Mother’s Day!

Food was tasty. However, it took over an hour for the simple breakfast items we ordered to arrive. The service wasn't great. We barely saw our waiter. May have been due to understaffing? Disappointing overall due to this.

Food was good however I ask for well done not burnt. It was very burnt. But I do get all cooks are not the same. All good

great location. Great ambiance and our cheese board was delish! After we finished our cheese board we realized that we hadn't ever ordered our food...the waiter said that he was waiting on us...The french onion soup is sweet with little broth flavor. The hanger steak was barely chewable. Our greens on our plate had no dressing or flavor. I didn't love the service and wait almost 25 minutes to get our bill. We were there a very long time and I wanted so badly to enjoy this place but was sadly disappointed.
