So I'm not sure if it was a less experienced cook but only one of us got a properly cooked steak and cheese was added to my daughter's burger when we specified no cheese. I sent the burger and my mother's steak back as hers was rare. Whereas the other 2 were overcooked and didn't want to waste it. Our previous experience was perfect so it's been hit or miss. The server was super nice.

Waited 20 mins. No one came to see us. No drink order nothing. Wasn’t really busy either. Waitress walked by a few times yet we didn’t get service.

My reservation wasn't there. Was told that the 2 other reservations of hockey teams were 2 weeks before mine & our wait for food would be at least 90 mins. The manager was very rude & unapologetic. She behaved like it was my fault. Almost ruined my daughter's birthday but we went to the Keg & they made up for our terrible experience at Mr Mike's

Our experience was great! We were a table of ten. Our server was very tentative, all orders were correct, and she was very pleasant. We all enjoyed the food (the mushroom veggie burgers are delicious!) and it came out in a timely manner.

Went to Mr. Mike's for the first time yesterday for my wife's birthday dinner. It was very nice, casual dining, but fine dining, not pub grub. I had a very nice salmon dish, my wife enjoyed her steak, cooked as asked (always a thing with her, so good on them for getting it right). The warm, sticky toffee pudding, as my friend had recommended to me, was very good, very decadent, go with the small, not the large, unless you have a serious need to consume sugar. My wife signed up for their app, meant we got the dessert for free, that was nice. Prices were very reasonable, good options on how the numerous dishes will come. The service was very good, they treated us very nicely, were very attentive to our needs for more and more coffee, and all other requests. Was not that busy, early on a Tuesday, arrival of the food was quite quick. I liked it that on the dining side, versus the pub side, they had no TVs on the walls, I do not like being bombarded with TV all the time, nice to have a differnet atmosphere than what the game of the day is. I would certinaly recommend it for a nice fine dining experince, and as a vegetarian, I can confim that you do not have to be a meat-aholic to enjoy youself. PLant based options were availalbe on most dishes without any increase in price. I really liked that, I hate paying more to eayt vegetarian, when hte cost of ingredients is lower. Al in all, a very good experince in an interesting part of downtown. We went across to The Alley after dinner and played some arcade games. That was fun, and nice that such an options was only a few steps away.

Although our server was great and the staff were very nice, I would not come back to Mr. Mikes as the food quality was subpar. My spin dip didn't taste like spinach dip at all, and my chicken caprese salad was missing basil. The Moose Jaw Mule was missing any taste of elderflower (although its listed in the ingredients). My fiance's ribs were lacking flavour (and to be honest, tasted like cardboard), and his cheesecake tasted store bought, and was not very good. I did like the ambience and the fact that there were board games available. But, the food quality was just not there.

Took 45 minutes for the food to come and when we asked the waitress about our food, she said “I guess it isn’t ready yet”. Then when she bought it out she claimed someone else was suppose to bring it to us. And it wasn’t even busy there. Would definitely not return and wouldn’t recommend this place for dining. Maybe if your just looking for a place to have a few drinks and appetizers. Paid over &100 , wasn’t worth the money.

Sorry this took so long to see, my applogies. Our normal service should be roughly around 20 minutes once ordered and about 15 for a lunch. Covid hurt the dining experience for most diners. We have been trying our best under the circumstance to fix that and we have. We hope you will come back and try us now that we have reopened to 6 days a week with our full menu. We have a full compliment of cooks able to cook for you now and will soon be open our regular hours 7 days a week.

I booked a reso for 9pm, they said they usually close that time but will accommodate and stay open for us. This was gladly appreciated and the food was DELICIOUS!! Server was great as well.

Blandest steak I’ve ever had. Zero flavour. Freezer pack stuffed potato and a pile of unappetizing carrots. Completely over priced for a food court level steak dinner.

Food was average at best. The price for the steak was a bit high for the quality of cut. Overall the experience was ok and we will be back to try again when things get back to normal.

The offered lobster tails. The price of $19.99 was outrageously overpriced for the small lobster tail. Mine was 4 bites so not worth $19.99!

the food and overall atmosphere was fine. service was slower than normal and prices a bit high. (compared to other restaurants in the area). The guacamole that accompanied the Mexican dish was dark and tasteless. the evening was saved by the quality of the dessert. brownie with ice cream.

Honestly amazing. The owner came up and said he heard it was our anniversary and congratulated us. That was super nice and personal. The food was also delicious.

It was a celebration for my birthday. The dinner special that I wanted already included a dessert. The waitress packaged up a second dessert of my choice to take Home for free because it was my birthday. Of our group of 4, three of us have chosen to go here at Mr. Mike’s for our dinner. We will definitely be back for the next birthday! The food and the service were great!

Sides were cold mashed potatoes and green beans Fried chicken was overcooked, seemed like like deep fried twice Appetizers and desert was good. Was third time there. . . enough chances and will go somewhere else next time for dinner. May go to bar for aptzs only
