    This is a mixed review. As Coeliac I always view restaurant menus online in order to make my choices suitable for my dietary needs . The online menu had plenty marked with GF0 ( gluten free options), therefore as the dishes are intended to be shared, we decided that it would be perfect to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Upon being approached by our server I was told that there was a special menu for gluten-free as a lot of gluten-free items had cross contamination and were not suitable for Coeliac. I really do appreciate the care taken in this, however it didn’t leave a great deal of choices that were coeliac safe. We chose four of the small plates and shared, my husband is not coeliac but there wasn’t much choice. The food was very good, fresh and tasty. The server who had originally spoken to us and told us she would be serving us that night actually left the premises not long afterwards. The girl who brought our food out told us it was Coeliac friendly and we have no complaints with her service it was very good. Once we had finished our meals however, our dirty plates sat on the table for probably a good half hour and we had intended to have another drink and order dessert. I could see a young couple behind my husband trying to get attention of wait staff as well as they were not being served either. They eventually waylaid one of the staff and we also had to do the same. Sitting there for a half an hour after finishing our meal without any service whatsoever was not appropriate. We decided to forgo another drink. When we finally got the attention of the wait staff and asked if we could order dessert, I asked if the yuzu crème brûlée was definitely gluten free and she went to ask the kitchen. I was told that it usually is but that the nights batch was not gluten-free however the banana dessert was gluten free. This banana dessert wasn’t marked on the special menu as gluten free so we opted out. On this basis I wouldn’t return.

    Friendly service, excellent food except the crispy beef that was a bit tough. The rest was delicious. Would definitely go back.

    Great quality meat. Fresh chilli overused as garnish. Small portions. Crispy noodles were soggy. Open kitchen with extension cords looked dodgy

    Great food, great service. Had an issue with a vegetable dish that was sorted out immediately without any fuss. Well done. Will definitely return to this venue.
