We have been here like every month since January, it's never disappointed us! And this time the service was excellent and special thanks to Julia, she's marvellous! And only the Chimichurri Steak Salad was not as good as before, otherwise it’s perfect, and my friend was very happy to have a surprised a piece of birthday cake to her too, thanks !

Book a reservation and despite other open tables was put by the kitchen. Server forgot out desert order until reminded. Not my best moxies service

Server didn’t seem to be interested in serving? Hosts gossiping behind our table, and around us. Just talking.. servers gossiping behind us as well, other servers not serving us gave us a face that seemed like she was annoyed of us not sure why? Overall, I didn’t care enough to say anything out loud, as it didn’t really affect me.. just thought would be better service. Food was okay, not much R&D? Wings, honest garlic was too gingery tasting. Didn’t enjoy it. Thai chili chicken was decent. Loaded burger.. not so loaded but to each their own I guess.

Our steaks were blue and we ordered medium rare and medium. The honey garlic wings were good though.

We ordered chipotle mango chicken and angus beef New York. The chicken is overcooked so it was burnt, dry and salty. Again, we asked for medium rare for the steak but it was overcooked and it turned medium, the sprouts were burnt too. I have never had meal like this, we did only tell the waiter about the chicken because we didn’t want to make a huge complaint and make them think that we just want a free meal or something. And the waiter seems lack of experience, he seems not familiar with the menu so when we order, he had to refer to the menu word by word. And he didn’t really come around to ask how we doing, our water was not refilled until we remind him. Oh the only time he came around to check on us was standing behind my shoulder to ask how are we doing, I had to turn over to tell him we are fine at moment. The overall experience was totally under our expectation. Lots to improve!!

The music was a bit loud, otherwise all good. Our server is efficient and nice. We tried the fine out Vancouver set meal. Good value for money.

Went in with a group of 4 for my birthday. The food was pretty good, but not amazing and overpriced for the quality. I ordered the lemon basil salmon and butternut squash soup and would recommend. I also ordered a white peach sangria and was brought a bellini. Tried to order a watermelon sangria off their menu after and was told they don't serve that anymore. 🤔 Pretty sure the bellini had no alcohol in it either, as I'm pretty sensitive to alcohol and had zero effects (no flushed cheeks whatsoever - my partner even commented on it). We were a weird group to serve because my partner and I showed up early and the other two showed up late and we were quietly bickering and leaving the table often. The restaurant was pretty empty and the server was very nonchalant about us being there for 3 hours. If you're making a reservation with someone you know is difficult/regularly late/picky, this is an accommodating spot. If you're looking for a fancy night out with stellar service, I would keep looking.

French dip was disappointing. Meat was fatty and bread fell apart and was sloppy. My request for specific Caesar drink was ignored completely. Came as restaurant usual. Tina stack was good. Cheeseburger good. Service was either too much or Tom little. Waitress unaware of when she was needed and when she wasn’t.

The entree was undersized with not very fresh vegetables. The server was friendly but forgot to offer pepper for our steak. The steak is not as tender as expected even though the price is rather high, so we were hoping for higher quality. The seating was spacious and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Conveniently located close to River Rock Casino for event we were going to that night. Very reasonable prices and great service. Highly recommend.

Food was sub par - chicken Alfredo was very salty, chicken looked & tasted microwaved or boiled. Nachos claim to have a pound of cheese but the naked chips show otherwise. Lettuce for lettuce wraps was limp and most pieces too small to use, chicken in lettuce wraps had a soggy breading. It’s like they’re trying to be like Cactus but failing. Server didn’t check on us during our mains at all, nor did he ask how everything was when we were done. We were celebrating a birthday and asked if they did a dessert, which they do but only the bite a brownie (cactus comps a full slice of cheesecake). We asked if we could get a full size since it’s 3 people sharing and the server said he could comp the dessert if we mentioned him in a google review. So if you see a bunch of 5* reviews on google mentioning a particular server, know there’s a reason for that. Overall we were all disappointed in the food, server was mediocre at best, and the restroom was swarming with fruit flies. For a supposedly “R + D” kitchen, it didn’t appear they were doing much research or development. Try again

We were at Moxie’s to help Doc Harris celebrate his 75th birthday with family and we were delighted to be so well taken care of, by the greeters and the wait staff alike. We were outside and had two small children in our group which can be a challenge. The food was amazing. We are regulars at this location and will definitely be back again. many thanks!! Sorry I do not have photos to add.

It was my birthday and I was happy we sat in a cozy booth but a few things could of been better. Main meals arrived and half of them were cold.

Our server was very kind and pleasant. No judgement is the value that all servers should have and she was an exemplary example of the perfect server. Wish I got her name. She was working overtime from 11-10pm and still had to come in next morning at 7am. Thank you as we were hard working moms needing a nice night out.

Extremely bad service we had a reservation we had sat down every drink. I had asked the server for they were sold out of which is understandable new menu items. OK you’re out but out of all the drinks for drinks. We’re completely out of ingredients then I asked for a simple, flavored vodka martini And she literally looked at me and said if it’s not on the menu, we cannot make it. I was a bit confused, but OK we ordered her food and had some food to go as well. Mind you the restaurant was not busy at this point there was a party on the patio of maybe about 10 otherwise the restaurant was pretty quiet, I had an emergency phone call and we had to cut our dinner short so I had asked the server if she was able to put a rush on the food as something had come up and we had to leave sooner than we had expected again she looked at me and said sorry we have to serve the party And then we can make your food. At that point I did not know how long my food was going to take, and she was not going to prioritize or even talk to the kitchen. She literally walked in the opposite direction. My party and I got up told the hostess we were leaving and left. I will definitely never come back to Richmond Moxies again we did end up driving all the way to Langley and had an amazing time service food at the Langley location so I do recommend Moxies but definitely not the Richmond location. Any other location is amazing Richmond you need to train your staff on customer service.

I returned my soup which didn’t taste good at all and I had only taken one bite, but they didn’t take it off my bill. Food is ok. Value for money - not worth it.

I should give a 5 stars review, the only thing is shortage of staff, a bit of wait for the service, but the server was doing an excellent job. Food is good and like the environment so much. Definitely will come back more often.
