    The food was delicious, the service good and the staff was very friendly. The only problem is the noise level which is common these days. Overall all, it was a nice evening and I will be back.

    We sat outside, in the shade on Mothers Day. It was sunny, beautiful. Our drinks came quickly, the eggs, bacon, hash browns were delicious. I was given a beautiful rose. Doesn’t get better than this. Thank you Moxie!!

    I went to Moxie for dinner with a friend. The restaurant is pretty and has a nice bar, but is extremely noisy. It has an indifferent menu, with bland offerings similar to chain restaurants. The wine prices are outrageous, with bottle prices four to five times retail prices. The glass prices are equally absurd, with a mediocre Malbec at $16 per glass. We had a nice cheese plate with blue, goat, Brie and cheddar along with grilled bread, fruit and marmalade. The waiter brought extra bread upon request. We then shared a chicken Caesar salad. The chef divided it on to two plates which were small salad plates with a laughably meager portion of salad ($19). One wonders if the portion differs when served as a single portion. The bill for one salad, the cheese plate, a bottle of wine and two glasses was $160 without tip. I could have gone to Sanford’s.

    Why wife and I took a business associate from Italy to Moxie's for dinner. Moxie's is a great spot to go to. Our server Michael did an excellent job. My wife had the Salmon and it was very good Francesco and I had the Ribeye. Both were cooked MR as ordered but I have to admit that I do not like my steak completely sliced into strips and the meat was not the tenderest cut of beef and a lot of fat. The Caeser and house salads were very good, liked the caper addition and the mashed potatoes were a hit. We had Procesco and Chardonnay, the wine list is as good as ever.

    Haven’t been to Moxies in a couple of years but the food is still great! Scallop shrimp scampi was very tasty. Tomato bruschetta was very well done as was the flourless chocolate cake. We’ve never had any problems with service- the waitstaff is top notch. Seating is a bit tight and a little loud but it’s a small space so just be aware of that.
