I got the Ettoufee. It was out of this world!!! We reserved a table and were glad we did. We beat the rush!

My expectations were met. The selections I made were as expected and interesting. I will need to return to experience additional menu items and evaluate the rest of the menu. Service was attentive but not obtrusive. The wait staff was courteous and friendly willing to engage with us and answer all our questions.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. Had a reservation for 7:15, finally got sat at 7:35. Service was a little slow, but extremely friendly. The food was on point. We will definitely go back in hopes that it was just a bad night for the front of house team. The food is what is bringing us back this time. All the flavors were what I was looking for.

The bbq sandwich was eh and the fish tacos were decent but the amounts of each topping were not a good ratio with about of fish on each taco

We had Sunday brunch with Hector Anchondo playing blues. The food was amazing and they have $15 unlimited mimosas. Highly recommend this place any time but their brunch is amazing.

I enjoyed the music. Mimosa’s were good. The jambalaya was a little dry and pasty ( stuck together) but tasted ok Did not care for red beans and rice. No cornbread ! You Need cornbread and I prefer my red beans over the rice on a plate Plus the dish was too soupy The gumbo was good but roux not my favorite. Sausage and chicken had a great taste however. My wife had chicken fried chicken. It was fantastic ! Beignets were ok but different than cafe du monde in New Orleans . They Need more powered sugar ! More airy !

I stumbled across this place while in Omaha for a basketball tournament. Ended up having it to go one evening and liking it so much that we went back the next day for brunch. Everything was amazing, the food, the service and the atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Had heard so much about mouth of the south. But the only time we had it was when we ordered out during Covid. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Terrific food! The service was excellent. A tad loud, but overall a great experience.

I had pulled pork sandwich with onion rings that was awesome. My husband had the Smoke Stack sandwich with fries that was excellent. Our waitress was very helpful and kept our drinks full. The bread pudding was great. We will definitely be going back again.

If you have not tried the Mouth of the South West Sunday brunch, you are missing out. Plus live music which the artist played so many good songs we requested! The food is delic and the bottomless mimosas are wonderful! You can count on that we will be back!! ❤️

First time my husband and I actually went out in 19 years for Valentine's and this was a bad place to go. There were 6 tables around us that were eating. They all left and another 6 tables were sat and they were served food before us. Finally the waitress says I'm sorry it is taking so long we are going to stop on line orders. My husband and I looked around like how did everyone else get food and we laughed. Finally when our food did come it was as cold as you can get. The food died in the window and was completely forgot about. We waited for almost an hour to get our food and I can honestly say this will be the first place we would not recommend. Braised beef po boy was lunch meat in gravy. My husband's pork sandwich was so dry he had to drown it in condiments just to get it down. What a waste of $100.

We've been there multiple times before and it's always a Great experience. The wait staff is wonderful and the food is fantastic. (Get the Bread Pudding!)

Food had lots of flavor and was very good! Once our orders where put in they worked as a team to get our food out to us. I had to make evil eyes at staff to notice that we needed drink refills and condiments for our kids meals. Very nice staff but not very quick to their tables.

We very seldomly seen our waitress. She couldn't even remove the empty plates and cups from our table. Several people at my table didn't even receive a warm meal. Overall, my experience at Mouth of the South was sub-par, to say the least, and definitely not worth the money. We have come here before and recieved much better service and food, so it was a huge letdown.

Service was wonderful and waitress was great! Always enjoy our dinner there. She suggested the bread pudding for dessert and it was incredible!
