MOTHERSHIP a récemment figuré sur la liste des meilleurs bars d'Esquire pour ses plats végétaliens haut de gamme et ses riffs inventifs sur les boissons tropicales avec des combinaisons improbables comme l'amaro et le sirop Tang. Mais ce sont les détails du design de science-fiction qui sont particulièrement impressionnants, notamment les lumières aux couleurs changeantes, les menus qui ressemblent à des manuels de vol et une navette transformée en bar.

My party and I had an amazing time! We originally had a reso for 6 people but we wanted to add 2 more people, but we couldn’t get ahold of them ahead of time to add them since the app only allows you to make them up to 6 people. However! Our friends made their own reso for themselves and when I got there I told them I wanted to add them to ours! It ended up not being a problem and we just waited 30 more mins to get seated at a bigger table! Which was perfect bc some of our party was running late. The drinks were super cool! They were a bit strong for my taste (I did get the strongest and second to strongest drinks). But the whole place was amazing and the vibe was so nice! The bathrooms were a trip too! A lot of people here complained about the music being too loud but we didn’t have a problem! Overall, we had such a great experience! I’d definitely bring another group of friends here if they’ve never gone! Service was super great too! They were very attentive and made sure to clean up any plates or glass that we were done using so it never got too crowded. 5/5 experience!

Not a sci-fi nerd… really didn’t get this bar at all… couldn’t understand what all the hype was about ?? Drinks, staff and food were all delightful…

You have to really try to NOT have a good experience here. The interior is absolutely incredible and the cocktails are delicious! My favorite drink was Nostromo’s Stowaway; rum based with black sesame crème de cacao, coconut cream weirdness - fabulous. I forgot the bartenders name but he was great! Very welcoming, fun to chat with, and had great recommendations. 10/10.

Definitely a must go when you are in San Diego! Great ambience, food and drinks. We will be back!

The food and drinks were phenomenal. And the decor was awesome. The drinks took about 10 minutes, which itself is no problem. But we didn’t like that the appetizer came out before the drinks. And the entrees came out less than 5 mins later. So our table ran out of room and the flow of the experience was off. May be worth it to remind the server of the importance of pacing the drinks and food.

This was a really fun experience. The food and drinks were excellent. I would definitely go back and highly recommend anyone check it out.

Natalie and Victoria were our bartender/servers. They helped make sure I chose celiac friendly choices. Atmosphere is really great, makes an adult feel like a kid at Disneyland again! Go for it! The restrooms have great design too. Nice place.

This place is pretty cool. You feel like you're at Disneyland! It's super dark when you walk in and takes you to another dimension. The drinks are $ but it's fun for a drink. We didn't try the food. The server could've been in a better mood but I would go back .

This was such a fun experience! I came with my best friend for her birthday and it was great! The bartenders are so friendly! I couldn’t get the name of the one who served us but he was so nice and gave us his input on drinks especially on what we would like depending on our taste! The food was really good! We got the potato’s which were seriously delicious, the sauce that comes with it was soooo good. Honestly, it was so fun, such a unique experience, and they really go out of there way to immerse you in the experience, the menu, the ambiance, the music, to even the bathroom and even the music/sounds in the bathroom! I seriously enjoyed myself, if you really don’t care about $$ and just want to have a good time, this is such a great experience! I cannot wait to come again!
