I really, really like this neighborhood joint. There's great style, good food and drink and the service is always spot on. We have had the pleasure of a young African American man (don't know his name) twice and he's an absolutely lovely guy who never let our drinks (water or cocktails) go dry, had a constant smile on his face etc. I highly recommend Motel Morris as a member of the neighborhood.

First time at MM...really enjoyed ourselves. The food was good - note, you have to love blue cheese if you order the pork - and our waiter told us so. We enjoyed it. Though we didn't sit at the bar, it looked like a lot of fun the way it's set up with rounded edges vs. corners so people can enjoy it more. The ambience is great and the style is super cute. Had brunch with friends not under my reservation and we sat outside. It was louder due to the street noise but it was festive regardless. Please patronize this place, we'd like to make sure it stays in the hood.

something was amiss. the waiter was apologetic, but we waited far too long for our drinks, to order, spoons for the soup, ect. we had to get up twice to check on thing. I have eaten there a fair amount but something was out of whack that night. overall this took about 3 hours and should not have not your problem but the noise level coming down 7th was disturbingly loud. i will eat indoors in the future.

Always a phenomenonal place for brunch or dinner. Excellent food- The lemon pasta took me back to the Amalfi coast. Delicious!

I recently visited this restaurant and started my meal with the meatballs. Although they were very tender and juicy, I didn't like how easily they fell apart. It made sharing a bit of a challenge. However, when my entree arrived, all was forgotten. I ordered the roasted chicken and it was absolutely divine. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful, and it paired perfectly with the salad. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant, especially for their roasted chicken. That said, I do wish they had more food options on the menu. The selection was quite limited and I felt like I didn't have many choices to choose from. I would recommend they add more dishes to cater to a wider variety of tastes. Overall, despite the limited menu options, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This was my first time dining at Motel Morris, and I had a wonderful experience. The kale salad, trout and rhubarb cake were all delicious and generous in size. The service was excellent and the prices most reasonable. A great place to check in for a terrific meal in Chelsea.

Great on all fronts. I went there for my girlfriend’s birthday and we were both impressed by the ambiance and food. My girlfriend had the fish and chips, a friday special, which was light and flaky. I had the skirt steak which was very good but a small portion for $39. Service was attentive, fun, and kind. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Spent Christmas Eve there but have been longtime patrons of the Motel. Always a wonderful experience. We love the charm of the place and friendly service. Great for evening out with friends or just catching up over cocktail at the bar.

We had a lovely time sitting in one of the huts, but I think that you need to rethink the menu and start adding more food! Not enough things to share. Would love to come back but not order the exact same things.

I ordered two eggs over medium and they arrived over easy. The side potatoes and salad greens both tasted pre-prepared. Service was good and so is the interior design, but its about the food and we were disappointed.

Took my nieces here for dinner when I was in for the weekend. I chose it based on the gluten free friendliness (I have Celiac), the varied menu, and the convenient location for everyone. The food was terrific and the service was very attentive. It’s a small place but doesn’t feel cramped, and the entire staff was extremely friendly and gracious. Dining out is always a risk for me due to cross contamination, but this place is diligent and I was totally fine after the meal. I would absolutely eat here again when I’m in town, and only wish it had been there when I lived in the neighborhood!

My friend’s salmon was noticeably overcooked, so he was forced to send it back. Instead of bringing him a new one, they just took the remains from his plate and put them into the pan! I couldn’t believe they had the nerve to bring that mess out to him.

I brought 3 friends for lunch who had never been to Motel Morris. They were impressed when our waitress volunteered to make a cocktail that used to be on the menu and was no longer listed. I had no problem getting something from the brunch menu even though it was Friday. I, of course ordered the dusted french fries for the table, which were an absolute hit, as were the home made potato chips that came with the duck sloppy joe. Shrimp tacos got a high rating also. We wound up ordering coffee because we were having such a good time and just didn't want to leave! We thought we should put Motel Morris on our calendars for a "meeting" at least once a month!
