    Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. Wow what an experience. Greg the manager was awesome along with our server Sean who was superb. The food was great The service was better from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave felt like I was at home with family. Wonderful celebration of our 50th anniversary.

    So never have been to Mortons, and was not sure what to expect. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a very friendly host. She had our reservation and showed us right to our table; which was seating directly next to the line of the kitchen. We were greeted by our server which was very nice; however, there were just a few things during the duration of the meal that made me “question” on how fancy of a dining establishment we were dining at. By that, I mean the restaurant seemed to want to be in the realm of a fine dining steak and seafood house but there were little things that made it seem not quite up to par: 1. I asked for the Mortini, which is there version of a martini with blue cheese olives. I opted for the Grey Goose, and ordered it “dry”. However our server needed to ask me if I wanted “dry vermouth” in my martini as the bartender did not know hat “dry” meant. 2. My gust ordered a Gin and Tonic, and our server asked if he wanted it on the rocks; which is harmless but still an odd question. 3. Sitting so close to the kitchen and line we could hear their entire convo. Which would be fine if the line was firing like a true kitchen and calling orders but they were not. In one case, I recall the cooks talking about their gloves and such, and then about the cheesecake dessert and how to plate it. Some vulgarities were also spoke. 4. Menu items and descriptions. I feel that the (2) dishes my table had could have been explained more. The Sea Bass and the Salmon dishes; both came with veggies as a base but we ended up ordering side veggies as we were unaware of the veggies the dish came with. It would be nice for the server or menu to explain that in a little more detail.

    Private dining experience rocked! Presonalized menu was a unexpected touch. Service provided by Shawn was over the top. People were still talking about the meal and the experience the following day. Oscar sauce, chopped salad, prosciutto appetizer we all the talk. The steaks just no comparison!

    Incredibly disappointing! This restaurant used to be fantastic, 12 years ago I had an amazing experience, but this time, I was appalled after eating at a steakhouse where the side dishes were far better than the steak. I am sure the meat was good, but it was horribly cooked, I invited friends from out of town and all of our steaks were charred-burned on the outside ruining them completely. All we could taste was burned meat. Horrible experience, I will never return.

    Our dinner was perfect. We sat at the bar, had the ribeye, cream spinach, bernaise, everything was perfect! Our server/bartender was spot on. Sivane. Definitely coming back.

    The salad and entrees were both perfectly prepared and well presented. Unfortunately, the au gratin potatoes were served cold and had to be returned. Overall it was still an enjoyable evening but not quite up to Morton's usual standards.

    The food and the service were absolutely wonderful!!! My first-time guest were also very pleased with the experience. I look forward to dining at Morton's again!!!
