I tried to have a business meeting, but the noise was too much. At one point, a large table wanted the entire restaurant to sing Happy Birthday for the second time. My table was struggling to hear each other all night. It was a chaotic scene. The food was way overpriced. The waiter attempted to upsell too hard even after we said we weren't interested. It's $65 for an 8 oz filet, plus $15 for a side salad, plus $10 for extra toppings on your steak, plus $20 for each sharable side. For five people, our bill was mid $800. For a business meeting, I won't be returning.

My husband, adult son and myself dined at Morton’s in celebration of an event last night and had a great experience. This made us extremely happy as our last dining experience at Morton’s was poor. Our waitress completely MADE the experience beginning to end. I have forgotten her name, but she was probably 40-50s, short, brown shoulder length hair with bangs and very bubbly. She was so professional at her job, thought of all the extras, extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make it a spectacular dining experience, including having the hostess take a celebratory photo with the restaurant’s camera that they print out and put in a nice paper frame and bring to your table. This was for my son. She really thought of everything and for this reason, we will definitely be back to dine at Morton’s. The steak as usual was fabulous. My son had a tomahawk steak, my husband a strip and I had a rib eye and all were done to our specified temperatures. Of note, our waitress let us know about a dining discount card that can be used at Morton’s, Landrys, the Palm, etc which accumulates $25 credits at every birthday and when you dine. We not only didn’t know about this but have dined at Morton’s many times and never been asked about or told about this card, so we’re glad we learned about it.

The service was amazing and the food perfect too. Was there for almost 3 hours for a birthday dinner and it was perfect. They did so much extra for my girlfriend since it was her birthday. Would 100% recommend and go back.

We come every year for our kids birthday but last night we were disappointed. There was a long hair in our butter, my husbands beer was poured without tilting the glass so it was full of foam and I had to send my fish back because it was so cold. Maybe it was an off night.

Food is great, but working in the restaurant industry in the past and living in Napa your service expectations are higher. They post a 10pm reservation but don’t give you a 15 min grace period. If you have any of the last few reservations they try to push you to hurry and rush you. Removing plates before you are finished eating, coming by every 2 minutes, bringing dessert before all dinner plates are bussed and packed. The service is very rushed and I understand that people want to go home but they should just close earlier then and make sure servers give a normal service with their last few tables on their shift. Very unprofessional.

The server was not quite up to the details of fine dining. The filet steak on the steak and seafood special was not great, but the steaks from the main menu were wonderful especially the Cajun ribeye. They poured the bearnaise sauce on top of the filet, smothering it, rather than serving it on the side as is traditional. The cocktails were wonderful, and the service was attentive. The food was good but not outstanding—as you would expect.

Our waiter was kind but inattentive. She didn’t notice when our libations were empty and offer another. She also forgot our side order of creamed spinach. The noodles in the lobster Mac and cheese were undercooked and hard. For the value, they missed the mark this visit.

Our experience here was great thanks to the excellent service from our server Tina, and the manager Jason. The food was outstanding. We ordered the Fried Onion Rings which were great; definitely recommend getting the garlic aioli with it. The bacon steak appetizer is simply amazing. We received that with compliments of the manager Jason and we couldn't be happier with it. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the hot chocolate cake dessert was the perfect ending. The bartender also made a perfect whiskey sour. All in all, this is the best steakhouse experience in Sacramento.

Best steak I’ve had in a long time. Made a birthday dinner really special as well. Been to other steakhouses close by and Morton’s hands down is so much better

Bottom line, the best of the best. Pricey, but you pay for quality. Steaks cooked to perfection, and the sides were paired very well. Onion bread when you are first seated is very good!

The food and the service were outstanding ! I’ve been to many Morton’s over the years and this was an experience I haven’t had in a long time. We’re new to this area and all of us agreed that this was the best. Our server, Brandon was fantastic. Whoever is running this establishment is doing a fantastic job. We’ll definitely be back !!!!

Thank you for a wonderful birthday celebration! Our food was amazing and service was great. We went with the chopped house salad, filet mignon & lobster tail, 12 oz filet mignon with jumbo grilled shrimp, smoked gouda and bacon au gratin potatoes and jumbo grilled asparagus. Thank you for the complimentary Morton’s legendary hot chocolate cake & ice cream for dessert! It was delicious.

The service was flat, and was not like other Morton’s restaurants we have visited. We went for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was a less than memorable experience.

High expectations coming in and the setup was great. Once food was delivered the steak was barely cooked (I asked for medium) and the baked potato was cold. Server was sorry and apologized. Supervisor did the same. Wife finished her dinner before I got mine back. Once returned the food was to specifications. The mistake was addressed properly but the delay did spoil the dining experience.

Tries to be old school. Kind of dated and bland. Service was good but nowhere near excellent. Actually, bar was vibrant and cocktails good. Ok experience. For the price you can find a better steakhouse.

Very mediocre food to be honest. I had the lobster ravioli, steak, banana foster cheesecake, and chocolate hazelnut mousse , The food was ok, I’ve had better steak and food for this price . Service was great and everyone was professional/ trained well.

The food is always top Notch. The steaks are very good as is their sides. Morton’s has a very good wine list. We enjoy going to Morton’s a few times a year and love it every time
