We had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation to get seated. They have a policy that people get two hours at their table. The prices were higher than they were online the day before. Between the music and the rowdy guest it was a very loud atmosphere. My family couldn’t enjoy their food because they were trying to hurry up and eat to get out of there. I would go back at a less busy time to give it another chance. The food was good.

Food was amazing. It’s always crowded so we wished they provided some type of bread or something when you wait but our server gave us some which was nice. Everyone was great and very accommodating

The BBQ crab claws were out of this world. However, the crawfish pasta had absolutely no taste and needed more seasoning. The catfish on top was just okay.

Celebrated my birthday here for lunch and it was amazing! The vibes were great, the staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make me feel special on my birthday. The food was great! Loved everything about it! Will recommend to friends and family and can’t wait to come back! Thank you Morrows for the wonderful birthday experience!

My experience was awesomeeeeeeeeeee my finance birthday was celebrated and we enjoyed every min of of service !!! Out Waitress was awesomeeeeee I can’t remember her name but she had on glasses as well as braids.

Overall, my sisters and I had a good time here. We ordered a variety of food - fried chicken (seasoned nicely and fried well), collard greens (pretty good) and mac n cheese (just ok). Bbq shrimp - sauce was really good. It is in my personal opinion that the back of the shrimp should be deveined. score - 8/10 Red beans and Rice - Solid! score - 8/10 Cajun pasta with fried catfish - Pasta/with sauce was great 9/10. Catfish was fried nicely! Charbroiled oysters - Good but not great - score - 6/10 Side salad - corny but lettuce was fresh so I appreciate that. score - 5/10 Drinks - Lemon drop, Strawberry Margarita and Old Fashion … all pretty good! 8/10 Service - our server “ReeRee” was sweet and pleasant 10/10 OVERALL SCORE - 8/10 worth the trip!

The dinner was for two. The service was nice. We were seated in a timely manner. We also received our drinks, to include our food in a reasonable amount of time. We noticed on the menu that there was a 20% gratuity for parties of four or more, normal. However, upon receiving my receipt, they had already taken out an automatic gratuity of 20% percent. I was not happy about that and unfortunately, it was the topic of our conversation as we left the restaurant.

Food was good we had the gumbo ramen and lettuce wraps along with charbroiled oysters but appetizers came at same time along with entree so lot of food on small table. Waitress seemed to be be preoccupied so no clearing of table or acknowledging if we needed anything after food was delivered. So my husband felt atmosphere was good so we plan to try again later to give a fair chance

The Morrow’s Charbroiled oysters were heavenly, my husband said the catfish platter was good. I also got the salmon with sticky rice the glaze was delicious and went perfectly with the patron margarita recommended by our waitress Gabriela! She was helpful with recommendations and questions about the menu, and was very attentive to our table even though she was working multiple stations. I really enjoyed the experience all around and would definitely recommend it!!

The food and service was great. The tables were way too close together especially considering COVID is still running ramped and the noise level….way way too much for me. I expected the ambiance to be a little different. Wasn’t what I expected to experience but the food made up for all that up until the moment I just could not take the noise level anymore. If I ever go back to NOLA I would definitely go back for the food and I have already begun telling people to visit Morrows when they are in NOLA! It’s definitely worth it. Food is very close to home cooking. 100% Soulfood that’s for sure.

Our server forgot to put in our food order. We sat and waited for over an hour for our food to come out while watching everyone that came in after us get their food. She didn’t apologize and blamed it on the computer. She didn’t offer an appetizer for the mixup while we waited. Nothing.

I heard so much about Morrow's, I couldn't wait to visit once I got to New Orleans. Unfortunately, the fish was not good at all. To me, the catfish in NO tastes very different than the catfish in Houston. When my plate arrived, I thought I had chicken strips versus catfish fillets. However, the shrimps were big and good! The HennyRita was also good!

The food was spectacular, however, it took at least 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge our presence at our table. And that was after we flagged down the hostess to let her know that no one had been over. Once we were finally served, everything was absolutely delicious, including the drinks. The food definitely made up for the rough first impression.

This was my second time visiting Morrow’s the vibe is amazing. They were out of salmon, which was disappointing. I have a shellfish allergy, so not much selection for me. I had to settle for the chicken with a side of red beans and rice. The chicken was seasoned well and the red beans and rice was perfect.The Peach Cosmo was amazing!

For was delicious— we had the fried chicken with greens and red beans and rice and the crawfish pasta with fried catfish. Both were excellent. The chargrilled oysters were also great. Service was good. Will be back.

Had a nice dinner here, had to wait a little bit for our reservation since it was packed but the food made up for that, everything was so bomb!! Our waitress was very sweet too, didn’t catch her name unfortunately. Would for sure love to come back and try more.
