    My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there. The food and cocktails were both great. The staff were very friendly and often checked in on us. You also got plenty of food.

    We had a 5:45 PM reservation on a Monday. The hostesses were polite and we were seated almost immediately. The decor and ambiance was what you’d typically expect: grass walls, modern furniture, good music etc. there is a unique bottle wall with florals with that was cutesy. Our waiter Javon very was nice. I like the touch of being greeted by name at the table. He recommended the Luna Landing which was very tasty, I had two. The drink was supposed to feature a ball of smoke but the bartender couldn’t get his smoke gun to work initially. After a couple of tries and me insisting that I didn’t need the smoke effect he got the smoke gun to work. We started our meal with the Parker Bread. It was good, not great. We also ordered crab cakes and Caesar Salad. Both were ok. The crab cakes were not flavorful enough. The aioli served with the crab cakes was divine. We followed up with the Cowboy Ribeyes topped with grilled shrimp. I did not like the plating at all. The wooden board didn’t keep our steak at the right temperature to enjoy all the way through and the steak was not quite as tender as a I would expect a ribeye at this price point. We also had the broccolini and baked potato, nothing special to note about either side. I preferred lobster Mac but they were out of lobster and could only offer crawfish and crab Mac. We finished our meal with Crème Brûlée which was actually delicious. Our overall experience was ok. I don’t think Morrow Steak should be billed as a fine dining establishment quite yet. There is still some work to do to get there.

    Morrow Steak is what the city has been waiting for! Great location in the center of the CBD. The food was fantastic. The Mardi Gras shrimp is a must have appetizer. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the lobster Mac cheese was superb! Tierra and Curtis were also great. Everyone understands the vision and purpose of Morrow Steak and that’s why your glass will never be empty or needs not met. Definitely going back!

    I ordered crab cakes for an appetizer, but didn’t like the corn in them. They weren’t very flavorful. Filet mignon was gummy with little to no seasoning and garlic mashed potatoes were extremely “garlicky” and not seasoned to taste. Luna Landing was delicious along with the presentation. The place is beautiful and overall good customer service. It needs to be noted that sides are shareable…if not on the menu, staff should mention it.

    We had a great date night experience at Morrow’s Steak! From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted with welcoming smiles from the staff. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. The Mardi Gras Shrimp appetizer was delicious. Great drinks, great food, beautiful place, and awesome vibe! We will definitely be back soon.

    My husband and I absolutely enjoyed every aspect of the experience. Yes, this was an experience! My favorite restaurant…we even got a change to meet the head chef!
