The kitchen had some difficulty with food orders and get them out in a timely fashion. Servers were helpful and courteous. They tried to help the best they could. Could have been a better experience but the decor is so INNOVATIVE.

Our reservation was for 12:15, but we did not receive our orders until at least 1:45 pm. We were a table of 7 (awkward seating arrangement) and all the orders came out at different times, incomplete, not hot and some were not cooked the same. The pancakes and waffles are delicious but one waffle order was nice and crispy and the other undercooked. Out waiter did deleted one order from our check (it was cold) and another order (waffle, eggs and bacon) came out at all different times! We would probably give it another try but considering it is rather pricey, I think the kitchen staff needs to get it together. The restaurant is very pretty inside. I am not sure about a recommendation to friends, but the only choice is yes or no!!

We came to Morningbirds on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation and they said it was a 30 minute wait unless we register thru Opentable. So we picked a time on Opentable and they took us immediately after which was weird. We waited an hour for our food, which came out wrong for both of us twice. So we had to wait even longer for all of our stuff to be right. The food was good. We both got the Peacock and our waffles, grits, oatmeal, eggs, and potatoes were all good. Can't complain about the food other than how long it took to come out. The servers were really nice and they brought us everything extra that we asked for. Our server also gave us a discount for how long we waited. They were actively mopping the floors when we were here and the smell of bleach wasn't mixing with our food so we stopped eating. Wont be coming back until they figure it out. Over all liked the food, the service was kind, but the kitchen needs to get it together.

60m to wait for eggs & a biscuit is ridiculous. We waited a good 10m+ for anyone to come to our table for a drink order. Still had to ask for water again as that never came. An hour later the food came and potatoes were missing which came with one of the meals. Food was very good and super cute decor but won't go back. Didn't enjoy for bleach/cleaner smell while we ate either. Very disappointed.

We went here for brunch. I had made reservations 4weeks in advance. When we got there 5 of us ( all adults over 50) were showed into a booth. The lamp over our table was broken. Pieces of broken glass still hanging. Food was mediocre for the price. Too much salt in the grits. We were told “that’s an issue we are trying to fix.”. Coffee got served , no cream or sugar We ordered a bottle of Prosecco- it was brought to us , left on the table for us to uncork and serve ourselves. Service was fast. We didn’t have to wait long for our food to be served. Overall a very blah experience.

From the moment I walked in, the decor made me say "WOW, how beautiful!!!" My family really enjoyed the service from the amazing waiter to the OH so kool owner. They made everyone feel so welcomed. Now let's talk about the food. OMG, from the presentation to the taste is 5 STAR!!! Hats off to the chef!!! I truly recommend this beautiful place. We will be back soon. God Bless!!!

Nice ambience, but the food left a lot to be desired. Omelette was very thin and flat, and the side of breakfast potatoes didn't have much flavor.

Great concept. Lovely ambience and very clean. Great menu choices for all. Everything is made fresh to be cooked. This will add a good amount of time onto your dining experience. Allow for 1 1/2 to 2 hours to dine. We went at 11:00 am on a weekday, table for 3. Wait staff just does not seem to have the professional and upscale training experience, necessary to be successful. Although, they were very kind and I hope that it remains open and they can improve on service. I will go back 1 more time for another chance to improve the wait service.
