The food and atmosphere was excellent which is a good thing bc the service wasn’t good at all - BUT I will say that we DID come on Memorial Day and they were short staffed. I found this out bc after we had eaten I spoke with the manager and she was very receptive to my critique and kind (let me be clear - I was not angry or frustrated, just relayed information) and she informed me that they were short staffed. I believe if she would have been there when we got there we wouldn’t have had any of the issues we had or they would have been resolved much quicker so I won’t even bother to list them here. We will be back but maybe not on a holiday 👍🏼

I made reservations for my small party to attend after a school graduation. Unfortunately it took so long that, after over an hour of no food and almost our whole drink order, we ended up canceling our order. Our server said they haven’t even gotten to our ticket yet in the kitchen. It was a bummer because the restaurant is beautiful! We were excited to try the delicious sounding menu but it took way too long just for 2 coffees and a lemonade.

Cute interior. Food and drinks were very slow to arrive. They were also out of many items. Servers were very nice. Overall, do not think I would return as the cost was not worth the experience.

This is the second time we’ve visited Morningbirds. The first time we loved it- which is why we came back. However this time left much to be desired. The first problem: their front door was broken. It was locking patrons out and other patrons had to open the door from the inside. Our reservation was at 11:30. We arrived at 11:22 AM and they said we were too early for our reservation. When we finally made it inside the restaurant it wasn’t packed. It took 10-15 minutes for our waiter to greet us and take our drinks. While our server apologize for the delay as it was hectic- it didn’t save us from the overall experience at Morningbirds. Since we had been waiting so long, we already knew what we wanted to order. We got our food around 40 minutes later and it was mediocre at best. I had the fried chicken as a main and the macaroni as a side. In my opinion, it was basically hot cheese soup- not edible. I immediately asked for a new side (French fries). I waited so long- by the time I got it everyone included myself finished what they ordered. I didn’t get a chance to eat it. We also requested refills- never got it. We just wanted to leave. The other people at my table ordered breakfast plates. While they ordered plain pancakes, they put an unnecessary cream on the plate as well as butter on top of the waffle that made it extremely soggy. Good flavor but soggy. The eggs- could have been prepared better at home. Don’t know what was going on with the restaurant but we won’t be driving up to visit again

Nice brunch spot, lots of dishes to choose from from traditional breakfast to vegan choices. They were out of cinnamon rolls on Sunday.

Morning birds is an amazing restaurant with eloquent cuisine. I had an outstanding time dining in. The food was amazing, the drinks were spectacular and the service is impeccable!
