I usually love their food but this trip- the food was completely drenched in sauce. We all felt our dishes had an unusual amount of sauce and oil. If I go back, I will have to tell them - light on the sauce.

Unexpectedly Amazing! Came here to celebrate Mother’s Day with my family and it was absolutely an amazing experience. The staff here was extremely well attentive, friendly and always happy to aid us in our needs. The drinks are delicious, with the food being tasty! I will say, the food is served in very large portions that came be shared with 2 people. We did not know that and ended up having take aways! But we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and experience! Mom loved it! Will return!

The staff at Moonstone are outstanding. Courteous and accommodating. The food is truly exceptional. They even have Mocktails for those of us who do not drink. We have celebrated a few special occasions there as well. Let them know you are celebrating and they will treat you like royalty.

First time service was not up to par. Ordered lunch special with 2 soups. Only 1 soup was brought out, by the time second soup was served, first soup was cold. Love the ambiance and parking is great. My favorite asian/fusion restaurant in queens.

Four senior gents celebrating the 75th birthday of a friend with a lunch. Food was great (as always). Service was excellent and very friendly. Our favorite Asian restaurant.

On a Sunday evening, it's pretty quiet, so service should be exemplary. Asking for anything more than once is unacceptable. But food is delicious. Won ton soup for two comes in a tureen full of bok choy, sliced chicken, sliced pork, a few shrimp, snow peas and sliced carrots in addition to homemade won tons. Shredded beef was enjoyed by one dining companion, jumbo shrimp teriyaki with fresh veggies was another choice. My lamb chops in a merlot sauce served with baby bok choy was another great dinner. A nice key lime pie and a fried ice cream topped off the meal. Waitstaff need to be a little more attentive.

Everything went well until the end of the meal . The food was excellent and the portions generous. The service was fine as well. At the end we requested to take the leftovers with us. My platter had two large pieces of lobster leftover which I mixed in with some other leftovers to have an extra meal. I gave them the plate to pack the food in the back. When I got home - one of the pieces of lobster was missing ?! I don’t understand this behavior.

We were celebrating my daughter’s Confirmation. The staff was so nice & accommadating. Food & drinks were delicious. This is my daughter’s favorite restaurant & we were all very happy that she picked it to celebrate her special day.

Came here for my husband’s birthday with friends. Had a great table in the area by the bar so it was very private. Service and food were phenomenal. My husband was treated to a delicious dessert for his birthday. We had a great time and didn’t feel rushed. The only problem was that all of the restrooms were out of order. When wine and other drinks are flowing during dinner, at least one restroom should be available. Other than that it was a superb evening.

I love this place. It is elegant and comfortable. The menu is extensive and the food is excellent. All of the wait staff are attentive and they take good care of you. They have a nice big parking lot as a bonus. I look forward to going back.

This is a wonderfully upscale Asian restaurant. The prix fixe lunch menu was split between Chinese and Japanese offerings, with pad Thai as well. The food was excellent, as was the service. The prices were somewhat high, but to be expected. My one complaint is that my dining companion’s 12 year old McCallan on the rocks, which came from a less than $60 bottle, was $28, an outrageous sum. And not a generous pour. I’ll definitely return, but will check the drink menu before ordering any spirits.

This is the best overall Asian fusion restaurant on Long Island in my opinion. The quality of the food is exceptional. The preparation and presentation is top notch. The wait staff is super attentive. The drinks are hand crafted. To top it all off they have their own parking lot. No brainer!

Most likely an off night. Usually food and service are excellent. Had to wait almost one hour to receive the appetizer- Chicken Satay. Apparently when it came up it was given to a different table. The chicken was tasty but the peanut sauce was bland and watered down. They did not charge us for this due to delay. Chicken Pad Thai was good, but a bit mushy. Happy Family entree was good. For the high prices being paid, expected better. But, I will go back as usually it is very good.

A gem in Great Neck, the food was delicious, the taste and the food presentation were outstanding. The service was very attentive, the ambience is pleasant. Parking lot for guests is a bonus in this neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Wow what a fabulous way to celebrate our daughter’s birthday at Moonstone. Our waiter Peter was always around to help us with any questions about the menu. The food was prepared and presented perfectly and tasted great. The dessert was also over the top and the waiter’s singing happy birthday to my daughter was a nice touch.

The owner has created a wonderful atmosphere. The decor is stunning. Only topped by the food. Lo Mein, General's Chicken, Kung Pow Shrimp were all mouth-watering. Ya gotta try the soup dumplings to start. Server was attentive. Price was reasonable for the quality and portions.
