Nice ambiance and attentive service. Great drinks and a comfortable space thats not crowded. The food is the problem. If you want to actually get a sense of the taste of what you are eating this is not the place for you. Literally everything is so over spiced that, if they didn’t tell you what you were eating, you would have no idea. We live in the neighborhood and will not go back.

This is a really nice restaurant & great for a date night or special occasion. It is a white tablecloth restaurant, but also has a modern feel so it’s not old-fashioned or stuffy. I really like the food’s plating! The wine pairing and cocktails are also good. The only negative comment that I have is that every dish was spicy. My husband and I like spicy, but I can imagine that a lot of people would prefer to have a few dishes slightly less spicy and perhaps the chef should consider tempering some of the seasonings/sauces. The Moon bar downstairs which we did not try looks super fun for a girls night!!

We have been huge Carl fans for a long time and we were excited to try Mooncussers for our 10th anniversary. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff attentive, and the drinks delicious. The one big thing is.... If you do not thoroughly enjoy spicy foods, I would avoid this restaurant! Admittedly, we are not able to handle spice very well, but we were a bit shocked with how spicy things were, especially considering that you get very few choices of what to have. Also, there is absolutely no warning on any of the dishes. A few you may be able to figure out if you sit there and Google some of the specific ingredients, but there is no marking that they would be spicy. Sometimes it works, the wasabi crunch in the parsnip soup was phenomenal, but the Glazed Green and Asparagus completely blew our taste buds out. Overall, everything was delicious and well prepared, however, we weren't able to enjoy everything after a few dishes that took our taste buds out. We know spice is a personal preference, and we are probably worse than most with it, but wanted to warn others just in case!

Amazing dinner. Every dish was satisfying. The wine flight was of high value and I probably tried some things I wouldn’t find anywhere. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the dining room is airy and light.

The first two dishes were sublime. Innovative creations I’d never expected. The soft shell crab was perfectly fried but decidedly over seasoned. The fried rice and lamb were delightful. Dessert was a joy. Highly recommend.

This restaurant was exceptional. I was not expecting a prix fix dinner - I must have overlooked that detail when I made the reservation. I'm not one to go for set menus vs. having the option to choose but this seasonal menu was off the charts. Every morsel from start to finish was a taste sensation. The atmosphere was an upscale small setting making it relatively noisy but once the food started coming the noise became secondary to the amazing food and was quickly forgotten. I suggest asking for one of the window seats vs. sitting in the middle of the restaurant but don't let this deter you if you can't get one. You won't be disappointed!!

Food was amazing!!!! Only negative was that the dining room was a bit noisy. Would definitely go back but might not bring older folks as guests.
