This restaurant never disappoints. Bufalotta pinsa is delicious, and the steak is great also. My go-to desert is tiramisu and a cup of cappuccino. Ambiace is great, light music, nice decoration and great staff.

This review is long overdue. I've been a fan of Montesacro for a while. Recently took my parents there for a birthday dinner. Everyone was blown away by the food — specifically the Casal Bertone Pinsa, arctic char, bistecca and tiramisu. My dad said it was the best tiramisu he's ever had and I agree. Service was attentive and they also accommodate food allergies. My daughter was able to get gluten-free pasta prepared the way she likes. The atmosphere is also great — good for romantic dinners or celebrations and very lively (maybe a little too loud for folks sensitive to noise, but hey, it was Friday night). Overall, 5 stars. Highly recommend!

Exquisite food. The flavors were incredible. We honestly had no clue what to order and the waiter was very helpful with suggestions. Everything had amazing flavor from the salad to the bread, main dishes and of course the tiramisu! Wonderful experience for our quick trip in New York.

Intimate, moody with excellent food, leaning more towards true European experience than an American interpretation of Italian food. Rich in depth of flavor, can be loud when busy but worth it. Locals and still not tourist tainted

This Roman restaurant has become one of my favorite Italian places. The pinse are varied and delicious, some of them inspired by class southern Italian preparations like margherita and pasta all norma. The antipasti also are excellent and not the usual fare many Italian places serve. The stuffed fiori di zucca may be the best I've had outside of Italy. Good wine list, too, with a couple of fine selections from Lazio. And if you have room for dessert, don't pass up the mini-pinsa filled with pistachio cream.

Great food, nice staff and very attractive restaurant. We sat in the garden and it was so loud that it was almost enough to get us to reconsider staying. I would absolutely go again but would probably sit inside - but there aren’t a ton of tables in the inside dining room. The garden is aesthetically lovely but really really loud.

Decent food, nothing special, especially considering price list. We had to wait for 45 mins for our entree, had to ask our waiter twice. Ironically, we were told to expedite our meal after sitting down. Obviously, the money is more important for the owners than service quality or care for customers. We will never go there again. Sorry. There are far better restaurants to go, where one feels really valued. Thanks.

The pasta here is always sooo delicious. Only con is that it’s sometimes a bit too salty but it’s always great otherwise. Desserts are amazing as well.

Service was great! I wanted a certain wine and they didn’t have it so our server brought over 2 different wines for me to try before deciding. The rice balls are to die for! 100% will be back!

Overall experience was very good, carbonara the pork they use is too fatty like eating soaked pork grinds which is great but after a few bites your kinda over it. Marinella pinsa was superb, and the Negroni was great

lovely spot. went for lunch and the lunch special with $7 glass of red wine was perfect. crust is very light and airy and so so tasty. love the setting in the garden which is basically a greenhouse.

We sat in the amazing back outdoor area that makes you feel like you’re not even in the city and you’re in some beautiful Italian garden. Food was great & portions were perfect size. Little pricey for the portion size but worth it.

First time visitors, and very glad we came. Food was amazing -- we had the octopus and the Montesacro pinsa, and both were delicious. Drinks were good. Service was great, considering our server had almost the entire patio space -- he'd be even better if he had help. The host wasn't friendly to newcomers, but once you're past him, all is well. We'll return to try the pastas.
