We have been a number of times. We love getting a mix of appetizers and sharing for dinner. Try the Patacones with steak, the shrimp mofongo, guacamole with pork chicharoons. .Dont skip the churros. Cocktails are fantastic too.

Excelente el habiente. Deliciosos sus platos , sus tragos increible. Lo que si me parece muy alta la música a la hora de la cena . No deja que se pueda tener una charla a gusto mientras se cena . Lo demás todo excelente .

we have been here a number of times. The service is great. We love the cocktails. The appetizers are amazing. There are many times. We will just have a bunch of appetizers for dinner last night. I had the churrasco steak which was amazing.

I took my sister here to celebrate her birthday. The ambience was great but food however was just okay ish. The empanadas we ordered was very dry, and the chicken with mushroom sauce came out to be salty. They have buy one get one free sushi deals on Wednesday which is great value but taste wise, it was not that great. If I were to go back, I would really just go back for ambience and drinks but not the food.

Highly recommend this restaurant! My friend and I were in town for a concert and wanted something semi-casual but upscale in taste. MonteMar met all of our expectations. The food was truly outstanding. Flavor, presentation, portion size - all were excellent. Service was also excellent. I would return if I visit the area again.

went for valentine’s dinner with wife and daughter, friendly staff and decent service; had a valentines limited menu and while the choices were good, the drinks were sent back twice as they served us what tasted like sprite and mixer instead of what was on the menu. the steak was overcooked, appetizers small portioned and overall was not the best experience; luckily we have been here several times so this may have been due to the crowd or new wait staff.. we will give them another try as this is a neighborhood favorite for us.

Tried something new as a last minute Christmas Day outing with my family. The food was very flavorful and fresh. The sushi was amazing and Brazilian steak so good.

Every year, my family and I chooses a restaurant to visit at either lunch time or dinner on Christmas. This year (2023), I chose the MonteMar to take my family to; and I'm so glad I did! First off, its in a good and noticeable location, easy to get to and plenty of parking spaces. When we walked in and were immediately impressed by the overall vibe and ambiance! very appealing little place with a dope cultural and modern style. The Hostess was pleasant and let us pick our table, mainly because there weren't many patrons there at the time. I do have to honestly say that communicating with our waitress was a bit difficult because we couldn't speak Spanish, but overall she was a nice person and took the time to make sure she understood. We ordered the shrimp tempura roll as an appetizer, but it came to our table with the rest of our food. That was a little disappointing, but it was fine because it was delicious! We were a family of 6 and we all really liked our food! Everything came out correctly, nice and hot, and the food were seasoned really well! Kudos to the cooking staff because they did a great job with everything! I you are thinking about stopping here, definitely do so because we absolutely plan to visit this place again on a weekend, to really see the place jumping.

I had an amazing dining experience at this Latin restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, from the flavors to the presentation. The service was top-notch, with the staff being incredibly friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back for more! 😊

The ambience is very trendy. I loved my strawberry mojito, best I’ve had north of Miami. The empanadas were okay. I had all three, and the shrimp was my favorite. The seafood soup and carne were delicious as well. Birthdays are cute. They stop playing Latin music and slip to “shawty it’s your birthday” lol. Lots of fun!

Our experience here was great! We had the red snapper,lamb, and chicken Alfredo spaghetti! Portion sizes were good and the Tres Leches Cheesecake was the bomb! We will be back when we’re in Atlanta.

Es rico pero considero que las porciones son un poco pequeñas para el precio pero el lugar es muy lindo solo le hace falta una buena publicidad para que el lugar tenga mas flujo de gente por que la musica y la comida son muy buenos 💙

Very long wait on food. Got our order wrong. Nice employees and pretty ambiance. They didnt have my reservation on file somehow but luckily it wasnt busy. The prices were decent.
