Aloha, we are open daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm and are located on the waterfront of Waikiki Beach inside the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays).

Our chef driven concept is led by the classically trained, award winning chef, Peter Merriman. Peter is a culinary pioneer and one of the founders of Hawaii Regional Cuisine. He has always been inspired by the people and products around him and this spirit has lead the movement to look at food in Hawaii in a new light. Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman embraces this passion! Each item on the menu demonstrates our commitment to craft and showcases high quality, socially conscious ingredients, creative preparations, and perfect execution.

Food and service were amazing! We had the Mahi tacos and pizza! Fresh and delicious food with a great view of Waikiki. Can't go wrong for the price with great live entertainment! Will be back!

Lovely sunset. Fabulous bartenders and mai tai. Efficient and courteous servers. Macadamia nut crusted fish. Sunset on the beach view. What more can one ask for.

The Mai tai is so delicious! The lilikoi foam on top is wonderful! I had the macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi and it was so so good! Listening to the crashing waves was wonderful ! The live music was great! Our server was so delightful and friendly!

We finally got to try out the new location over in Waikiki and it did not disappoint. I had accidentally cancelled our 7:15pm reservation but the hostesses were kind and understanding and were still able to honor our reservation getting us seated within 10 minutes. It was the best table in the house as well! The only bad thing that happened was that my husband ordered a second patty on his burger and when all our food arrived the waiter let him know that the chef accidentally dropped it so only one burger patty was on the plate. Rather than wait my husband just said never mind, however, about 20 min later they brought the patty over anyways and said they wouldn’t charge us for it. We thought that was very kind of them. The food was hot (a rarity for Waikiki 🤣) and seasoned well. We loved the pizza and the soup, everything was amazing, I love the kale salad that I always get. I felt like the salad was better there than I had at any other location on island. Such a great location and fun atmosphere. Maybe the portions could be a little bigger, but for Waikiki what do you expect? Our waiter was super accommodating and understanding when my husband got a little frustrated about his burger. He had a bad day of dining in Waikiki, starting with his breakfast at another restaurant, everything he ordered seemed to go wrong that day and when his dinner came out wrong as well he had just had enough but the fact that the waiter brought the second patty over later on anyways was really nice. Best service we had all day and he turned it around for him. Thank you!

We have loved the one in Maui but this one was not as good of food. $60 steak was scrawny and the pizza wasn't as good as usual. It was Mothers day so it could have just been so busy it affected the quality. The potstickers were to did for would still go back for those any day

Monkeypod deserves six stars. For Mother’s Day this was the perfect spot to be at. Complimentary Prosecco every 30 minutes or so and the tacos were filling and delicious! Amazing service and the view was to die for! Will be back soon.

We made reservations on Mother's Day for a party of 5 and were seated as soon as we arrived (30 minutes early). Mothers were served Prosecco; I asked for a non-alcoholic drink and was given passion fruit juice. Very attentive staff, delicious food (saimin, margherita pizza, cheeseburgers and assorted pies), fresh ocean breeze and talented live singers (we had Jenna Kalea). Highly recommend.

This place came highly recommended - it turned out to be disappointing. Very crowded and loud; food expensive and only ok. The fish and chips were extremely greasy; the tacos good. Wine list for a glass was limited. Overall, not what I expected.

The burger was an overly salty over done chuck of ground beef with a piece of lettuce twice the dice of the burger. The server ignored us for the first 20 minutes even when we tired flagging in down he was then was very rude when taking our order, and bright our check out even though we wanted to order dessert. All and all horrible experience

Our reservation time is basically a suggestion. Waited 27 more minutes after res. time to be seated. Food was subpar; definitely not like their KoOlina or Maui restaurants. Fries looked the the nubs at the bottom of a batch. Daughter’s kids macaroni had no taste and she left hungry. No real soda; just some local brand that was terrible. No Redbull at the bar. No ranch dressing or red onions. And no curaçao for a Blue Hawaii drink which is weird since we are in Waikiki. Only redeeming thing was our amazing waiter Cory; and the live music was a vibe. Overpriced for quality & food offered.

Unfortunately the young woman who was our server did not seem engaged nor accurate with our orders. The entire experience with service was horrible! Because of this our orders were completed and she didnt offer anything to compensate. The food had been sitting before brought out, greasy and soggy. It was sad because we had such a lovely table.

It seems MonkeyPod is focused on underwhelming the tourist. The “greens” as a side for my eggs Benedict were literally strips of lettuce dabbed with dressing. Poorly plated & lukewarm at best. As a resident of Honolulu I’ll not make the trip in Waikiki to support MP. Really bad delivery!

My wife and I moved to Honolulu recently, and decided to try the Monkeypod Kitchen. We arrived for breakfast at 8:30, and were delighted to have a window table right next to the ocean. The view itself was worth the trip. We had a delightful server that allowed us to have a leisurely meal. Cocktails were delicious, and our meals were very satisfying. We will be back.

You do not want to miss this restaurant. Excellent main meals and plan on eating a peace of pie for dessert. We sat 5 feet from the water!

Was a lovely meal. Would have loved to be on the patio as it was our anniversary but we were seated inside. Waited a bit for a table even with the reso but once seated everything came really quickly. Food and drinks were delicious. Had Mai tais and mojitos and salad, pizza and fish tacos. Overall really nice!

We loved the food- the service was great also. I was a little disappointed that the poke tacos didn’t have Maui onion on them as usual. But delicious anyway. The gnocchi was why I gave 4 stars. It was completely smashed and we had more onion than anything. But we will definitely be back!

Margarita pizza and gnocchi were both undercooked. Flavors were great, but they both needed a little more time in the heat. Renovation looks great. A bit too loud for my taste. But good for families. And people who like to scream in order to hear each other. Music selection was perfect.

海🌊が見える席は満席だったが残念です。お料理も美味しく、サービスも良かったです。殆ど、日本語は通じませんが、簡単な会話が出来れば大丈夫です。アピステーキが美味しかったです。

Great venue for a special occasion or date night. While the food was very good the service was very slow. Took 30 minutes to get my drink order. Tables on either side of me with different servers got their drink service before mine even though they arrived 5-10 minutes after us.

My mom ordered saimin and bulgogi tacos was damn very salty. All other food that we order was same?
