We were greeted warmly at the door and seated promptly. We had the duck fat fries which arrived piping hot with truffle catsup which were excellent. We also had the Peking Duck for two, served with a hot plate and accoutrements which was epic! We will be back.

Ate outside so noise level was perfect. The Tan Tan Ramen was delicious.

So far, best ramen we’ve ever had! We missed Momosan from Hawaii since we moved to San Diego couple years ago so we were super happy we stumbled to their San Jose branch on a trip to SF. Their noodles are always freshly made to order; cooked to perfection chewy noodles paired with their super savory rich broth…every bite is like a warm hug to your stomach. Please open a branch in San Diego!

This was our 4th visit. It was Mother’s Day so was very busy though we came early. I asked for sparkling water and always got it on my previous visits. But this time the water the waiter brought me was mineral spring water. I let it go. I ordered the Mother’s Day special Duck Ramen. The photo in the ad has an egg in it. I showed the waiter the photo and he brought me the egg but charged me $2 for it. I didn’t think they should have charged me for it.

1st time at Momosan, we thought the food was good aside from the sharable duck, this was brought to the table with a hot stone to finsih the cook or warm up. Stone went cold and we needed another one which took a while to get to us. Not a nice way to have Peaking Duck, change that recipe. Service on the other had was terrible, lots of staff running around but even our drinks order took 10 mins to arrive. Server was inattentive and rarely seen. Food however aside from the duck was excellent, we will go back and hopefully the service will improve

The veggie ramen lacks flavor. The Brussels sprouts are great and so is the veggie bap
