Good as always! Came on a Saturday night (we've only been midweek before) and the noise level was intense! Out of town family were with us, and it was hard to hear for catching up. Because it was packed, service was a little slower than usual, but still hustling. Burger, salmon, salads, crab cakes, onion soup, focaccia and it's amazing oil, all excellent. Wasn't a fan of the batter on the calamari and didn't thing the basil aioli did it justice, but others like it - I missed having any of the legs, though, my favorite part. Cheesecake was an excellent traditional version. Cocktails superb as always.

Our group of six is from Las Vegas and frequent the area often. We have dined at Moe's a few times now and we are always very impressed. The food is always great, steaks amazing, and will give Las Vegas steakhouses a run for their money. We will be back on our next trip in a couple months.

The new watermelon salad is fabulous. But I still miss the grapefruit salad from last summer. The salmon is still off the charts. But I miss the halibut and Seabass special. I think it’s because it’s during the week and not a weekend. Hope to see those back soon. In the meantime, the drinks from the bar are still top-notch and very well done in an adequate size. Still the best steakhouse in PB by far.

This restaurant was closed for a long time and reopened a few months ago. My wife and I went for our anniversary due to its convenience and great reviews, and we weren’t disappointed. The steaks were excellent, the wine list extensive, and the server was attentive and friendly. We’ll be going back.

My wife and I came here with my cousin because we wanted a good steak. We all remember how good this restaurant was when it was called Saskas. So, we thought it might be as good or even better. Well, we were wrong. The quality of the meat was poor. Every piece of meat we ordered was tough. However, the flavor was fairly good. We all were expecting a tender juicy steak. So disappointing!!! On a different note, kudos to the bartender for making an excellent Margarita. Unfortunately, this place does not live up to the quality that Saskas provided and we will not be going back because the food was overpriced. There are better steakhouses out there that charge less and provide better quality.

The food was amazing! Service was good, but waiter offered a special that was not available, so he had to come back and ask us to reselect. When the bill came, he charged us twice for one entree, but caught it in time before charging us. All is all, it was a great experience and we will definitely go back.

We had a little hiccup with the reservation time not being accommodated(basically from people taking too long at a tables). The manager stepped in and had us sat. The overall food and atmosphere is wonderful. Staff are professional and attentive. I ordered the 10oz filet with a side of lobster Mac. It was delicious!

My husband took me on a date for my 50th birthday, and it could not have been more perfect. Outstanding service, excellent food, and charming old-school steakhouse ambience. I felt like a princess!

Some of the best bourbon and wine selections I’ve ever seen. Fantastic steaks and the service was great. Highly recommended the calamari - light breading and basil sauce was different and delicious. Awesome find! Be aware / parking is at a premium and if you don’t see a spot on the street there’s a very small public lot. Good night to Uber or walk!

This was our third time dining at Moe’s. The first time in 2014 was excellent - my husband saying it was the best steak he’d ever eaten. The second time was in 2022, where we were both disappointed as the quality of food and service had both declined. So, this our third time was in hope that Moe’s would redeem itself and be as good as the first experience. The jury is in! Moe’s was as good as the first time for my husband’s steak (albeit $20 more) and the chef’s special of lobster carbonara was heavenly. We’re so glad that we decided to give Moe’s another try. It’s a great place for a special meal or date night.

We came to SD to celebrate my birthday and my husband’s.first at Moe’s and did not disappoint. Everyone in my family was very happy with the Excellent food , service and staff. We were attended by Ruby who was super attentive and just genuinely kind. We will definitely come back when we’re in San Diego.

Such a timeless place and the best part. It’s down at the beach. The best of both worlds an Iconic and delicious dining experience, yet casual and relaxing. I love the ambiance and friendliness of the service. All the plates are yummy and so are the drinks.

Great little old school steak place. Service with Henry was excellent and friendly, food was very good and the wine list was great! Great for a special night out or when you want quality time over great steaks!!!

I love a good steakhouse. Moe’s checks off all the boxes for an excellent one! Everything we have ever ordered has been good. The steaks are fantastic! All the sides we have tried have been extremely delicious and always leaving us craving more.

I'm not one to give a bad review but I'm extremely disappointed in Moe's. I made reservations for Valentine's Day over a MONTH in advance, just for them to not have a table available when we got there. They said we would have to wait a while for indoor seating which I specifically requested we wanted through OpenTable and finally had to give up and sit outside. Was not planning on dressing up for Valentine's just to face a busy road outside for dinner. Their patio is a very opposite vibe to the indoor ambiance so it threw off the romantic setting we were trying to go for. I honestly wouldn't have been too upset but what bothered me was the manager didn't even apologize or come up to us to address the inconvenience. That was a bit disappointing; I used to love this place but after this, I wouldn't advise you to book with them for an important event because their system is clearly unreliable.

Had an amazing visit to Moe's Steakhouse! Right from the start, the atmosphere was welcoming. The hosts greeted us warmly, making us feel immediately at ease. The quality of the food was exceptional. The steak was divine, cooked flawlessly to the point of melting in your mouth. It's clear there's some culinary expertise at work here, as every dish was a delight, including the sides which were fresh and perfectly seasoned. What really stood out was the customer service. The hosts were superb, providing attentive service that struck the perfect balance between being available for our needs and allowing us to enjoy our meal uninterrupted. Their knowledge of the menu and spot-on recommendations enhanced our dining experience even further. Overall, Moe's delivered a fantastic dining experience with its inviting atmosphere, exquisite steak, and outstanding service. Definitely looking forward to our next visit!

Gaeza the bartender, the best around. Christabol, our server very attentive. The manager Stefan very personable. Hostess, Sienna, professional and accommodating. The NY Strip and Rib Eye Steaks were cooked to perfection, extremely tasty. Local Mission Beach Steak House. Great Happy Hour. Extensive Wine List. Moe’s is our go to. They won’t disappoint.

We came in for the Valentine’s Day four course meal. It was advertised on open table to be $150 for 2 including steak and lobster. We did not get the lobster and the appetizer was also different from what the email that was sent out had stated. Regardless the food was good however when we received the bill we were charged $165 for the meal vice $150. We paid more for a meal that didn’t include lobster and when we mentioned it to the staff they simply gave us a “sorry”. Needless to say, we probably won’t return for any “four course” meals they advertise in the future.

Birthday Dinner! Was so delicious, the portions were enough to share between 3people! The drinks were crafted beautifully and tasted good and strong! Ms. Ashley our waitress was very attentive and nice! The other staff were great! They had an awesome playlist! Definitely would come back!

First visit and it was excellent. We sat at bar first had few drinks and appetizer it was Social hour. Really good. Great bartender and service was great. Sat in restaurant had dinner. Our waitress was the best. Food was great. Definitely be back. Only downside is parking.
