Since its first restaurant opening in 1993, Mo-Mo-Paradise has expanded its presence to over 20 cities throughout Asia with plans to expand further throughout the rest of the world. Currently, Mo-Mo-Paradise can be found in Japan, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, USA, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Our Mo-Mo-Paradise brand focuses on traditional Japanese “hot pot” with a modern twist. We offer a wide variety of quality international and local meats and vegetables that is cooked shabu-shabu or sukiyaki style at your table. Throughout Asia, Mo-Mo-Paradise has established a strong fan base due to our focus on fresh and varietal selections that are unmatched compared to other establishments. Select broth, two plates of meat, and choose your carb! One plate of vegetables will be served per person as well. The weekday lunch special is $21.95 from 11am - 3pm (last call 2:30pm). We went for lunch. Got the limited lunch with two meats, and it was plenty. There's a very comprehensive vegetable buffet that also had pork meatballs and fish tofu. Drink selection is really fun. We'll be back

They had a good selection of garden bar vegetables and were fresh. Wish there were more fish cake varieties than just one. Meat quality was good and service was quick and attentive.

My first time experiencing this place and came in during a weeknight (dinner). The waiter who served us was accommodating! He was very customer-friendly, kind, and attended to us without hesitation. I give the place kudos for his exemplary customer service. However, I was not impressed with the food selection because of its very limited selection of meats (no seafood options except for fish balls) and not a variety of fresh vegetables as it claims. Compared to other AYCE shabu places I visited, this one was way too pricey for what it had to offer.

Even with the 90 minutes, it was more than adequate. First time doing a Japanese hotpot and it was great. The meats were good and the selection of vegetables to go with them together with the noodles and udon was delicious. The peanut sauce was amazing.

First timers so went there with just information from reviews and pictures. Overall a great experience. Unlimited boba, everything super fresh. You're looking at about $50 a person with alcohol and dessert . 90 minute limit but they weren't rude and never felt rushed. We stayed for about 2 hours and that was more than enough time. For all the food you can eat and the environment it was fun and definitely would go back.

One of our favorite hotpot places….love the simple selection of meat and veggies, fish balls, and a variety of sauces that are tasty. There’s even boba and free ice cream! Plus they have a discount for military and Senior Citizens. I didn’t know you could also order fresh eggs for the soup so will try it next time! Thanks for the good service too even though we went during Easter Sunday and it was busy.

We went for our wedding anniversary and they were so wonderful. We went around 5pm so that we would miss the dinner rush! Their food was amazing and the staff were so nice. 10/10 recommend!!!

I went here for my birthday dinner and let’s just say that the staff came through. They were energetic and helped us have a good time, even though it was every single person who came first time there. They explained everything really well. And overall we just had a really good time.

It’s a good hot pot place. Service is included however service is poor, so I hope they would earn it but they don’t. It is an ayce, ask for eggs, they bring the raw beef on trays

You will need to get out of your seat often to go to see the different vegetable and drink offerings. Our table was butted up against the corner, so it was very uncomfortable, and we had to constantly bump into the table next to us

Genuinely the worst shabu experience I’ve ever had. Make no mistake, this isn’t on the staff or the service — they were great and attentive. I feel bad that they have to work at a place like this. The selection was horrible, limited, and so so not worth the price at all. There are like a dozen better shabu places in Mira Mesa alone. It’s just bad and overpriced; for what you’re paying, you get basically nothing. Soup tasted super bland; both of the ones we ordered were basically like drinking boiled water with a dash of salt. The vegetables offered were so strange — how does chive ENDS count as a vegetable? Also none of the traditional veggies you’d find in a shabu spot. No other meat options available other than the 6 ones on the menu, which is really really strange and so not worth it.

We loved it!! The food is simply delicious!! We highly recommend making reservations, and going during lunch time because is less busy. Josh our server was very attentive and helpful. It was our first time going, and his recommendation worked out great. For the amount of food we ate the price was reasonable. The place has a lot of parking. Looking forward to go back again. :)

The quality of food was fair to good. They charge a “surcharge” for the number of staff waiting on your table to make certain you have what you need to prepare your Shabu-shabu or sukiyaki, but the staff was slow and had to be called over several times. Overall, dinner for our party went well.

Great experience at Mo-Mo-Paradise Mira Mesa. We were so full. Lots of sides variety and meats. Tonkatsu was flavorful. Love their ice cream desserts too.

This place was OK, thought to give it a try after seeing it on social media. They limit you to 90 mins, but only 1 hour to order meat and then an additional 30 mins to finish it. I’ve been to other all you can eat Shabu places and have never felt rushed as we did here. The meat selection was very limited and everything in the salad bar was out and slowly refilled. I wouldn’t go back.
