THE FOOD- It’s locally sourced and as fresh as we can get it; picked from local farms and moved from the field to our kitchen as quickly as possible to be put in the hands of our talented chefs who have created a menu chock full of honest flavour.

Mother's Day Brunch At MKT! Join us to celebrate mom at MKT Sunday May 12th. Families and large groups are welcome and encouraged. The weather is forecasted to be warm and our patio will be OPEN. Great service, good happy hour, Nachos were a bit small but very tasty. I would have rated the Oiler’s Experience as 5/5 but there wasn’t any noticeable draws or specials like what was advertised so a bit disappointing.

Our waitress was very good at her job and friendly. Music was too loud. When the music is too loud the. Everyone has to talk louder to actually hear each other then that makes the whole place louder. I don’t find having to shout at a dinner enjoyable Maybe time for new glasses not sure but my daughter had hers shatter in her hand and he lap got soaked. Stay helping with broken glass was very poor we cleaned up broken glass and had to take it to the bar that was not handled properly. Also not having enough menus is pretty poor on the management I believe. This place has been open for a long time they should have something as simple as menus. The upstairs bathrooms disgusting stop being cheap and maintain your building. Also get some signs up to find the entrance while coming in multiple people had to ask where the front door was that’s just poor on management side again

What a gem of a restaurant! The atmosphere is inviting and unique with that old train station vibe! We had the back room which was perfect for our group of 13 people comfortably. We will definitely be back.

Went to MKT on Valentine’s Day, for our group’s weekly Wednesday dinners at local restaurants. It was a very pleasant surprise. I am Covid conscience & put that in my reservation, just requesting a table out of the way. Our hostess mentioned it immediately & had put us upstairs in a corner table. Already a hit. I very much appreciated that gesture of kindness. Our server Madison was wonderful. So friendly & did such a great job, having so many tables & having to run up & down the stairs all night. The food was very good. Like, honestly wasn’t expecting that. We started with the deep fried pickles & ribs. Thought the ribs would be those tiny ones, but they were dry rubbed baby back ribs. So good. The four of us, kinda fought over the last one. The pickles were delicious too with a nice spicy sauce. All of our meals were super good too. My friend had the salmon avocado bowl and really liked it. My brother had the steak & eggs & said it was excellent & our friend had the burger which he enjoyed. And I had the clubhouse, with their in house rotisserie chicken & Mac & cheese on the side. It was really very tasty. My brother then had the Skor cake (or something like that) for dessert. It was huge & he loved it. Said it wasn’t sweet, super moist & fresh. All in all, we really enjoyed our whole experience. I would & definitely will recommend to others

After arriving at the restaurant for a reservation we seated. We unfortunately waited almost 20 minutes for someone to be our server. There was two servers that passed our table and ignored us as if we weren't even there. Finally the bartender took notice that we weren't being served and offered to be our server. Well the food was great the other staff made us feel unwelcome. This is not a place we would come back to.

I would not reccomend going here, for many reasons. I have never experienced such poor service as this one. Long wait times in a dead restaurant, poor service, and even when we asked for the manager to fix things, in a dead restaurant he was too busy chatting. Went to Harts table instead, another company under the chain, so much better and way better service !

It was an NHL Battle of Alberta night, so the noise could be different on a regular dining night. The bar staff took great care of us! The bar manager offered his own personal cell phone to my husband to stream the football game that was still going on and had become a nail biter but he had changed all the tvs to the hockey game for the other patrons. Very hospitable of him! The wings and nachos with chicken were exactly what is to be expected when ordering such common items, and the Big Skor was sublime, an insanely large helping for the two of us. The on tap menu did not disappoint either. My number one pick wasn’t available, but the beers I ordered were spectacular. Very knowledgeable, supportive staff. We will be back for another hockey date night soon!

Celebrated getting together with a group of friends. The private room was a pleasant surprise and made the gathering even better! Brunch was great - lots of choices. Staff were very welcoming and pleasant.

Food was good. My eggs Benny was not as hot as I would’ve liked. The kitchen forgot to include the bacon that was supposed to come with my companion’s order. Waitress apologized but didn’t discount or comp their meal which was disappointing.

Well let me tell you. Waitresses were in a weird mood. Seemed a little un inviting. It was like omg we got a group of guys and i dont want to be here. I will say we ordered alot of beers and pints. Had a good time. But it seemed like we were extra work for the waitresses. Had the big bbq meat plater. It was good. I thought the ribs could have been better. Brisket was good. The coleslaw was good potato’s were great. Pizza was good. The sauce that came with it was great. Nachos were also great. Only down fall was the service i would say. Asked for the game to be put on. And it was like well they will change it. Well they didn’t. Untill we asked again. They just seemed like we have to extra work or something and maybe it was due to christmas parties happening Or something. The place is not busy as i would have thought been there before and its usually full.

Our server was outstanding - a real gem. Negative on the mac and cheese - not a big fan of bread crumbs and the cheese was really bland. The curly fries were cold and unseasoned. The diet pepsi had only enough syrup to give it a little color - but no flavor, however they didn't bill us for it. Lettuce wraps were outstanding, and the fried pickles and nachos were a huge hit. Would definitely go again - would just be careful what to order. Oh - and the pizzas are huge - def enough for 3 people.

We had a great night, food was excellent!! Chatted with the manager Matt who bought our group of 15 a shot each. We will definitely be back.

We celebrated a birthday with a group of 8 in the private room. Great experience overall. Courtney was our server - she was fantastic in every way. Consensus best server we’ve ever had.

We went for lunch and it wasn’t busy, very few tables of people — sign said seat yourself which we did, but nobody greeted or acknowledged us for about 15min. Finally by the time our waitress came over we wanted to just order food and our drinks. Only came back once to refill drinks, even though they sat empty for a long time but she never came by to check in. Table beside us was delivered their food but no cutlery which they said would be brought right away. After about 10-15min, they finally had to go up and get their own utensils. It seemed as though nobody paid attention to our side of the restaurant. I paid with cash and even to get my change took a long time. Waitress wasn’t rude or anything, just had no desire to serve us it seemed. As well, multiple vehicles were broken into during lunch in their parking lot — which is obviously not their fault and they have no control over. But when asked for their video footage, they weren’t much help and just stated they don’t record their parking lot. Food was very good though, hot and freshly delivered by a different waitress. Hopefully have a better experience next time!

Our food was okay, nothing special, two of the beers were warm and on the flat side. The ambience was good, but the noise level of the music made it hard to hear across our table. Overall, decent experience, but nothing spectacular.

What a wonderful experience we had there! We travelled all day from Ontario to get there. The hostess made us feel so welcome! The food was absolutely amazing! The Beer selection is one in a million! We had a great time watching football with some beer and margaritas! Highly recommend!

Food was OK (tasted good but not hot) but the service was terrible. The restaurant was very quiet when we were there but the waitress was nowhere to be found. When we did actually find her, she couldn't have been less friendly. Very strange to see a person that relies on tips be so disengaged and unhelpful the entire time we were there. Certainly not the experience that we're used to enjoying at MKT.
