Used Valentine day as an excuse for first visit. Portions are decent Appetizers and soup were extremely tasty and very homemade tasting Sushi was terrific. Lots and lots of very very expensive “special” rolls

In town visiting and went for a early birthday dinner. Every item we ordered was fresh and good. The Curry infused soup was so good I left no broth. The sushi was fresh and the pineapple Thai rice dish was a hit.

Good spot in Excelsior for sushi and Thai dishes. Can be busy on weekends but reservations are available. On our visit, one appetizer came very late but the rest of the food was fresh and delicious.

Our food was great, as always, but our server was awesome. He accommodated our party of 6 well. He even joked with the 7 year old guest who “didn’t like raw fish.” We go there every year with out of town family before the holidays & love this local spot

We ended up at Miyabi as a last minute resort, since I could make a reservation within the hour. My group was SO impressed with the food. We will be back!

My wife and I had a very enjoyable experience here. The service was great. We could actually carry on a conversation. The food was excellent. FYI the sushi for 2 is more like for 3 or 4. I mean we did finish it but mostly it was so good I didn't want to waste it. Good thing with sushi though I don't get the meat hangover. I'm really looking forward to going back.

The experience was highlighted by our waiter. She was as much of an educator as she was a waiter. Polite, patient, professional -- all in an understated manner. Bravo!

Went for daughter's 14th birthday, had the spicy edamame, dumplings and crab rangoons for appetizers, I had the Korean Kobe Beef, and they did a fun ice cream sparkler dessert as a surprise for my daughter.

Selection of sushi and sashimi was excellent. I brought a friend from L.A. who is a sushi aficionado. He loved the food and remarked that our bill was half of what it would have been in L.A. My friend asked about things not on the menu and the chefs accommodated. This is a real gem.

Server didn’t have a pen so went off memory. Got our order wrong twice and was brought the wrong food both times. He also had to be reminded 3 times to bring soup. I was told I didn’t have to pay for the sushi that we didn’t order that was brought to us by mistake. Wow thanks. When we finally got our order the food was great.

Waitress appeared to be new/ inexperienced. Took forever to get appetizers and the food wasn’t very warm by the time we got it. Had to stop another employee to inquire about our order and drink refills. On the understanding side… overwhelmed, inexperienced waitress and a busy Saturday night. Just not impressive for our friends joining us for their first time dining experience there. It’s unfortunate. My husband and I have always had a great experience normally.

Service was not very good but food was excellent. The Hong Kong wonton soup was delicious and we had some specialty rolls. The noise level was very loud but wasn’t as bad after sone diners had left. Overall very good food but service could be improved.

I’ve been here multiple times and have always loved everything. But this last time we went I’m pretty sure they forgot about our reservation because they sat us 4 people at the 10 person booth so it was a little awkward but still completely fine. Then we waited 15min it’s until our waitress finally came over. She then took another 15 minutes to get our drinks and gave my brother the wrong beer. When our food came, my dad was also given the wrong meal, so he had to wait another 15 minutes for his to be re made while he told us to eat so our food wouldn’t get cold. I also work at a restaurant and don’t usually complain and I’ll definitely be back at some point, but this was just a really weird dining experience and wasn’t exactly great.
