Mister Oso is an award winning Restaurant and Bar located in the heart of the NOLA CBD.
Our team at Mister Oso constantly innovates, showcasing a playful and flavorful menu with rotating taco dishes, Peruvian ceviche, crudo, and enticing vegetarian options. Mister Oso originally opened in 2019 and expanded by opening in Denver’s Wash Park neighborhood in 2022 and in New Orleans’ Warehouse District in 2023. In the fall of 2023, Mister Oso was awarded the distinction of Bib Gourmand by The Michelin Guide.

Very weird place, portions are small which is fine but menu is even smaller. We ordered guac and queso and the server forgot about the queso.. we asked about it, got our entrees, ate our entrees, and still never got it. When the bill came he said he took it off… yeah I’d hope so.. lol. Not awful, but wouldn’t go again.

Asked the bartender for a mescal based cocktail off menu and it was fantastic. Pineapple Mescalita of sorts. Fried chicken tacos were amazing.

Stopped in for a quick bite. Quincy’s service was great but the food and drinks were even better. The restaurant is definitely a vibe.

Nice to find a place that’s open in between most other restaurants lunch and dinner hours, Mister Oso fits the bill. Beautiful room, warm and happy vibes. Service was solid and the manager came by to ask how my meal was which I appreciate.

The new fish for the Agua Chile Verde ceviche is delightful. They also added a delicious virgin Pina Colada to the drinks. The service from Odessa was top notch!

One of my guests was very sick after eating the oyster taco entree. It’s pathetic when the drinks come after the entrees! Everything took forever to be served! I had to apologize to my guests afterwards for this restaurant choice!

Our server Kris was amazing! She was so fun and was accommodating! the nachos and the barria quesadillas were fantastic! Will definitely be coming back!

The guacamole was yummy, but overpriced for the small portion you receive. The smoked shrimp tacos were DELICIOUS but also SPICY so watch out! Margaritas were very good, Paloma was meh. Loved sitting on the patio and liked the simplicity of ordering and paying at the table, Euro style

Came here for a late lunch before Wednesday’s at the Square. The ceviche was so delicious and refreshing on a warm day. They have some great Agua Frescas that you can add alcohol too as well! Sunny was my server and she was a delight!!

Food was so good and unique! We sampled the queso (best I’ve ever had), empanadas, Mexican pizza, and pork tacos. Loved the family style. Vibe was great and food was very high quality.

I sat at the bar and had to try the shrimp ceviche after Michael’s explanation of it made it sound so appetizing. It did not disappoint! Very flavorful with a great amount of heat, I’m already craving it again. The frozen drinks were so yummy and definitely packed a punch and the ambiance was fun yet relaxed. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

We lived in Denver for six years and frequented the flagship location there. The food at the New Orleans location completely misses except for the tortillas. The coconut rice not crispy, the cauli pastor not edible.

Delicious tacos (shrimp, pork and fried chicken) - we loved everything. Our service was great as well. We didn’t plan on eating Mexican food in New Orleans but are glad we did!

Great place for a noon business meeting. Service was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Allowed everyone to loosen up a little so we could close the sale! Also they mentioned that everything was family style. We asked that things come out on separate plates, but we ended up sharing everything anyway.

Wowzers...is an understatement. The Happy Hour was something new with a twist of delicious cocktails. The ambiance of this place really sets the tone when it comes to a perfect girls night or even date night. You must try the Ceviche, Brussel Sprout Salad and the Empanadas. Plus the smoked shrimp had a unique twist full of flavor this city hasn't had before. I'll definitely be back!

The vibe in here was so CUTE!!! Sunny was my server and she was phenomenal, so personable and bubbly. They had a great variety of drinks and the food was all so shareable. I’ll definitely be back and tell my friends about it!

The cheviche was bland and needed more acid. The fish was doing the backstroke in a water oil mixture. The Mexican pizza was the best of the three items. Probably not a do over.

Loved the open airy feeling of this conveniently located restaurant. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The empanadas were delicious, with a flaky, crispy crust...like none I have had before. I can't wait to return with my friends.
