    Join Chef Alon Shaya and his wife and restauranteur Emily Shaya for a Pizza Party on the patio of Miss River. Why pizza? The Shaya's love for pizza hearkens back to Chef Alon's days in Italy as an apprentice under Chef Enzo the Pizzaiolo. On May 30, they will welcome old and new friends to the patio where Emily has decorated a communal table for an evening reminiscent of their vacations in Italy. Chef Alon will be working the wood-fired oven and chatting with guests about his technique. We hope you will join us for this special evening of inspired cuisine and aperitivos, with more dates to be announced soon. Ticket price includes three courses and spritzes.

Keep your youngest chefs entertained with an introduction to pizza-making while parents enjoy culinary delights and classic cocktails on the patio. Registration for the class is $50 per child and includes one kid-sized pizza and a root beer float. Limited spots are available.

    Looking for a private dining experience? Join us in The Parlor Room which seats up to 12 guests. The menu for this experience includes Louisiana Seafood Service, followed by appetizers for the table: Best Stop Boudin, Louisiana BBQ Shrimp, and the Crab Maison Salad. Guests are then served the Whole Carved Buttermilk-Fried Chicken, Blackened Snapper, Filet Mignon Tournedos, and Clay Pot Dirty Rice family style. Sides for the table are our award-winning Red Beans & Rice, Creamed Spinach, and French Fries. Guests will enjoy Baked Alaska and Butter-Fried Beignets for dessert. Full table participation is required and price does not include beverages or sales tax. Please note that a gratuity of 20% will be added to all large parties.

    We ordered shrimp and grits, the brunch filet dish with the diced potatoes, and fried chicken with biscuit. Shrimp and grits served room temperature, inside of shrimp was mushy. The server didn’t ask my daughter how she wanted her filet cooked and we didn’t realized until it was served, it was medium/medium rare, and very touch and chewy. The fried chicken and the biscuit was burned. Not good And the praline bacon is sweet bacon with pecans on top. Not praline at all The mimosa was super good

    Our experience was great! Went on Mother’s Day and had no problems! I read the reviews and saw there were problems being short staffed, but i think they’ve resolved that because we had no problem! Food is quite expensive, but it is very good and you get a quality experience. My mom got the filet mignon 10/10 I got the shrimp and grits and they were excellent as well. We indulged in the $85 3-course.

    The food was excellent! The bbq shrimp appetizer is outstanding and the Demi glacé for the beef was best we’ve ever had. Wonderful baked Alaska for dessert. The ambience had a very nice gentle vibe, the noise level would’ve been better except for a very loud table of people in the semi-private room where their yelling did travel (it didn’t look like there was the ceiling sound buffering in that room as there was in the other parts of the restaurant). While everyone that worked there was friendly, overall the service was spotty sorry to say. We had to ask for a cocktail menu and then realized there was a separate wine menu that we also had to ask for- the food menu was given to us when we sat down. At times it was difficult to get our server’s attention and the entree delivery was slow… We would definitely return though.

    Very underwhelming, especially for the price. Service surprisingly lackluster (slow, disengaged, explicit request not honored), which was very off brand for Four Seasons and especially unfortunate at the restaurant’s price point. Food was…fine, at best. Really nothing special, except maybe the bread. Sauce on the BBQ shrimp was extremely strong, way too much miso or Worcestershire. “Sicilian artichokes,” on the other hand, lacked much flavor and was an awfully fancy way to describe what was basically 8 artichoke hearts. Crawfish strudel was OK but lobster sauce around it was barely warm. Mezcalero cocktail extremely sweet and with no smokiness at all. Overall, pretty disappointing.

    Unfortunately they were understaffed at our visit. Took 20 minutes to be seated ( and not a word about why) then 15 more minutes for someone to come to table to apologize about being down 2 servers. then 10 more minutes for a server to come w water. Then we were saved by a wonderful server. She saved the day. Also our food was excellent. It was jazz Fest so understandable a bit
