Marco, our waiter, was great, very helpful and well informed. The 'crudo' (tuna) appetizer was delicious! Grove sald with grilled shrimp very satisfying for a spring light meal. My spouse had the spicy pasta and enjoyed it a lot. Great house made mango sorbet! The environs could use a bit of spiffying up.

The food and service were outstanding. I'd totally go back again. It was very quiet on a Monday night....and I was surprised there weren't more patrons. Food is too good to be that quiet.

We were there for brunch. Lots of choices on the menu. It is inside the Virgin hotel, but doesn’t seem like your typical hotel restaurant.

Hostess was awful. She let a couple skip the waitlist line in front us us because a woman kept insisting they would just sit at the bar. I wasn’t aware I had to specify that we would sit at the bar to avoid being skipped. Then I had used an app to make a reservation to ensure a specific time slot although she had added us to the waitlist, mainly because I was not confident in her service after what I had been witnessing for 15 minutes. Our waitlist table became available first so I let her know she could cancel our reservation and give that to someone else and then she tried to make us wait for our reservation time and give away the table we were just notified was ready for us. Once seated, the table/booths weren’t the most comfortable - sunken bench by the window which put you at an awkward height for eating. Our waitress was nice but the food was overpriced. We paid $6 for plain black coffee with no refill and had to ask for water from the person who dropped off our food. My husband got biscuits and gravy and said it was good. We split an ala cart waffle which was also good but my eggs Benedict was very bland. This place is attached to a hotel so they seem to prioritize room service and are priced like room service.

Food was quite good. The main issue here was surrounding service. First, it took 15 minutes to be given water and 20 minutes for a server to come to our table. We were able to place all of our order at the same time, thankfully. After our starter, the server told us the main courses were fired. Then, a minute later, he returned to tell me that my main course had just been sold out. He was quick to offer alternatives, but it just kind of added to the poor experience that we had overall. We both would be happy to return on the condition that the service improves as the food that we did have was very good.

The service was spotty during our last visit to Miss Ricky's. Despite it not being crowded, we were seated at a wobbly table with a damaged banquette (that caused me to sit lopsided until we asked to move). After we were reseated, our server was slow to return to take our order, and little things, like a teaspoon or saucer for coffee, were missing. After I'd finished my meal, signaling with my silverware and sugar wrappers on the plate (due to no saucer), a busser came by several times yet didn't remove it. Still, we love Miss Ricky's food, so these were minor hiccups compared to the delicious meal.
