Our experience was amazing, the service was perfect as first comers we had no idea how the menu worked. Our sever was super great at explaining the menu and making sure that our small plates came out at perfect times. And all the food was to die for. I highly recommend the lobster spring rolls and any of the sushi also any of the fried rices options are great too! We had high expectations and everything was perfect.

All of the food was outstanding. Highly focused and clean maki. Great variety of dishes. Killer views. Lovely cocktails. Slightly smaller wine list than anticipated.

Andrew was our waiter and he was an absolute pleasure. The tuna crispy rice was fantastic as well as the sushi. Views are incredible and it was a great way to celebrate a birthday.

View is beautiful. Service was very good. Food was okay not as great as I was expecting taste wise, presentation was great though so they can definitely make it killer overall. The drink I had recommended by our kind server was perfect and accurate, light and refreshing. I often do not like mixed drinks they’re unpredictable but the shiso drink I had was a perfect balance of alcohol and flavor and presentation. Overall a good experience I wanted to treat my mom for Mother’s Day.

We had the best Japanese dining experience here in chicago. The food and recommendation that our waiter gave us for dessert was exemplary. Even though due to the popularity of one dessert that we want and it cant be served. We had a complimentary and it lives up to its quality and name.

The food is amazing and the outside terrace amazing. Unfortunately for a lot of money you don’t get a lot of food. My husband ended driving through McDonalds afterwards lol

The space is lovely. We were there for Mother's day brunch at 1:30pm. We sat outside and in the afternoon, the sun is behind the building leaving us in an expansive outside space but close to the inside dining room still - best of both worlds. Service was refined, neat and crisp: what you'd expect from both St. Regis and LEYE. The dining room is pretty and the food was great tasting across the board. Only thing bringing things down from perfect were overall they struggled to have sushi out to select from. Long periods of time when all rolls, plates, soy sauce were all empty. Similarly, several dessert items were missing towards the end of the service. Everything was lovely still. The Mom in attendance was very happy

We had a fantastic experience today. Everything was well organized and thoughtful. The food was diverse and of the highest quality. The service provided by Allyson could not have been better. While the price was high it was fair considering this was Mother’s Day and the quality of the product. The only negative is the 3 percent surcharge added at the end. Most consumers including me are irked by this. The facility should simply raise their prices upfront instead of tacking on a nuisance charge at the end. I simply negated it and added the amount to the tip of the server where it allegedly is supposed to go. Despite this irritant it was a wonderful meal which my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed

Brought my parents to the Mother's day Brunch the menu and drinks were fantastic! Our sever was Lee and he was beyond phenomenal with his attentiveness and great welcoming demeanor. Will return for dinner soon and ask for Lee to be our server.

Everyone was incredibly nice and professional. We went to the main bar before our dinner and they were excellent also. Our server and crew were great and efficient throughout our dinner. It was our second time having dinner at Miru and we will definitely be back soon.

By far one of the best experiences in the Chicago. Everything on the menu was phenomenal, excellent crafted cocktails, and top notch service as well. Highly recommend!

Outstanding brunch menu, helpful server, efficient service, very tasty and very imaginative with a very peaceful ambiance. Not a big lunch eater, but Miru will be an exception. Happy to recommend to friends. Can't wait to return!

One of the best meals we have had. Clay gave us outstanding service in the dining room, and Josh in the bar. The ambiance and the view were amazing. Definitely will dine here again!

Wow. Excellent is the best adjective to use! I have been living in the Chicago area for decades and somehow Miru has avoided me. It's a must visit! The food quality rivals anywhere I have travelled.

The ladies at the reception were very friendly and welcoming The waiter was amazing and extremely informative and patience as we have some dietary restrictions. She took the menu to the kitchen to scratch out all the things that we can’t choose from. The view from the terrace was Amazing! Unfortunately it was closed at that day, but we were allowed to enter the area and take photos. Highly recommended!

A fantastic experience. As an out of state visitor from California, just 40 minutes from the ocean, I was amazed at the quality of the fish! What really was the cherry on top was the service. Our waitress was impeccable, super attentive, and very accommodating. I’ll visit the next time I’m in town.

The place is stunning. Spend some leisurely time outside admiring the views. If able an overnight stay might be worth it. Apps. Crispy tuna. 8 Gomae broccoli 10 Karage 8 Entree. Pork belly rice 8.5 Sushi 22 pieces 8 Old fashioned 9 Matcha gin. 10 Desserts. Calamari Brulee. 10 Coconut mango plus sorbet. 10 Larry was the best server!!!! Definitely a soecial occasion place to enjoy a celebration

Exceptional views on patio, service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. We were entertaining out of town guests and they loved it as much as we did. A great way to introduce them to the beautiful city of Chicago and the food epicenter that it is!

We really enjoy the food at Miru, interesting tastes and textures. It would really be nice if they would turn down the base music. We struggled to hear our servers and each other.

Before our arrival I marked down that my party is there for the anniversary. The two hosts greeted us as if we were a disturbance, and told us to wait, even though there were table ready already. When we were seated one of us quickly went to the restroom, during that time the server came buy. The server didn’t introduce herself and just sounded confused until my partner said I just went to use the restroom. When I came back the server came by again, still without introducing herself, asked if we wanted any drinks other than water. After we got our coffees, we were left alone for a while. By the time the server came around we kinda settled on our choices. We went to order, and one of us asked for just one of the item from the crispy and warm section. The server responded “as your meal?!” She continued starring at us, as if we were the ones to resolve the situation. She then proceeded to say “it’s tiny” and recommended another item from the menu to go along with it. After we got out food she didn’t come back to check on us. In the meantime the table next to us got seated and they had a different server. He introduced himself, introduced the menu and the concept, gave some quick recommendations. The whole experience made us feel as if didn’t belong in the restaurant that we are more than capable of affording, and chose for a special celebration. As someone whole works in hospitality and fine dining industry I expect more from a restaurant of this caliber. It was one of the first stops of our weekend and tainted the mood.
