Though the dining room is lit low and shows the simple elegance of white tablecloths, there’s a certain home-style vibe to Mirabella Italian Cuisine & Bar that you’d have a hard time finding at other Chicago temples to red meat. The prices are somewhat more modest, too, and at Mirabella Italian Cuisine & Bar, you can enjoy some classic apps, a very good bowl of pasta, and a well-prepared steak, with wine, for less price and just as much enjoyment as you could expect at many downtown steak joints.

The prices are very reasonable & the service is excellent. Parking is no problem. The entire staff is very courteous & efficient. BUT, the quality of their food has gone down a bit, possibly to control menu prices. The pork chop is an example of a quality decrease. Better to raise prices a little & keep the quality up.

Mirabella is a downtown Chicago steakhouse, out in the neighborhood. The servers are fantastic -- efficient, pleasant, patient. The food is delicious, and the desserts prepared tableside are so fun! It's really a great place.

We had never been to this restaurant and decided to go for my husband’s birthday. The restaurant ambience is gorgeous but what was really fantastic was the customer service. The host came to our table to check in and was extremely personable. Our waiter was fantastic. The calamari was absolutely out of this world. I had the shrimp risotto, and it was delicious. Everyone in our party was very pleased with their dishes. We will definitely be back.
