I realize that prices have gone up everywhere when it comes to dining out. And I also realize this Mimi's is located in Orange County across from Disneyland. BUT...the prices are just way too high for the very bland and average food they serve. The bread and butter is nothing special. The berry tea I had was watered down. The parmesan crusted chicken and pasta was very bland - very little flavor. My dessert was a tiny little pound cake with caramel and ice cream on top, just really underwhelming. The ONLY thing that is amazing still (I've eaten this at Mimi's in the past) is the french onion soup. The soups is always worth it. Otherwise, not worth the price. I wont be back unless I want the soup.

We used to have Mimi’s in Florida, and when it was purchased by Bob Evan’s I believe, it went down hill fast. It was by far favorite restaurant in Central Florida. Imagine my surprise when I found out there was a location in Anaheim. One of the things I really remembered about going there with the bread basket with the zucchini and banana bread. When we got the bread basket this time, it was just some toasted white bread with some spreadable butter. Not too great, not too bad. I asked the server if they had zucchini or banana bread, and he said no. After I left, I noticed that they actually sold it on the menu. I may have overlooked it, but the server said flat out that they didn’t even offer it. I also wanted to order the Parmesan crusted chicken, and I used to get it on a bed of linguine Alfredo. The server said they don’t do that anymore because they didn’t have the white sauce. So I went ahead and ordered a ribeye. For the price, it was ok. But I can get just as good of a steak here in Florida at Cheddars for a fraction of the cost I paid there. Overall, I was sorely disappointed because I was so excited to go back and experience what I had before here in Central Florida. I even talked up the restaurant so much to my students, and they were all very underwhelmed by the experience.

Decent food. But not much different than ihop or black bear diner. Service needs to be a lot better than I.

Excellent service, the servers and hosts were even great compared to customer service standards of a couple decades ago, but the place is tired and gross. Fixtures are not in good shape and the bathrooms stink like you’re in the actual sewer. Food was not good either. My turkey sandwich looked like cat food and the bread was stale. The soups were cold and salty. It’s just sad! Mimi’s was so good back in the day. It really is a gross Denny’s with a fake beret.
