We went Sunday of Memorial day. There was hardly anyone at the restaurant. We called more than twice to try and get an earlier reservation and they would not accommodate because of the reservation they already had. We got there and there was literally nobody there.Food was good. Drinks were good.

We celebrated our anniversary at Mille Fleurs and it was fantastic. They had our favorite sparkling wine - Caraccioli from Carmel so that made it extra special. Everything we ate was delicious - caviar, lobster salad, sole, sea bass, strawberry shortcake - all of it was wonderful. The service was also fantastic. It was a perfect way to celebrate. I can’t wait to go back.

Beware of the hidden charges. A $25 martini..we requested 2 extra oilves. Service charge in the bill $4. Asked if we wanted bread and butter but never said there was a $4 charge. Ordered a $70 steak. No notification until the bill can but they charged $14 to cut a steak in half. There was a $5 surcharge on top of all of this. We figured we paid an extra $37 for the meal and they wanted a tip on top. My husband tried to talk to the waiter but he ignored him and walked away. Unfortunately his tip suffered. This is too bad because food and ambiance were great but we would NEVER return.

We are very sorry to hear that you will not be returning. We will be immediately refunding the $9 to you. It was an error in the computer when we substituted Fries for the Pommes Robuchon. Our button in the computer for "Adding Fries" was accidentally pressed when it should've been a $0 substitute. It is simply $5 for split entrees for the additional sides. Amazing experience, very great customer service and it was a beautiful setup for outdoor dinning. I would highly recommend to eat here especially for special events like anniversaries and birthdays.

Excellent Old School Lux experience. No unnecessary ingredients to boost the menu read, just well executed dishes with a very high level of service! The menu choices are creative and fresh, but they still never stray too far from tradition. Fantastic example of classic RSF. Quiet atmosphere, great food, but with a younger, but well informed waitstaff.

Our Lobster Salad and Escargot appetizers were very good. The Almond-Crusted Sea Bass was of high quality but a bit on the dry and bland side. The Rack of Lamb was excellent and a perfect medium-rare and delicious. Crème Brûlée was well prepared but uniquely flavored which may not appeal to everyone. Service was excellent and the wine pairing recommendations were spot on. The quiet and elegant ambience greatly enhanced the dining experience.

Went to Mille Fleurs several times but just for lunch because we live approximately 50 min drive from this restaurant. We grew up in Montreal, Canada & lived in France for a year due to work! We missed good French food! Yesterday we went for dinner. Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere! Definitely the best French restaurant in San Diego 🥰

Party of four. 50 minutes before any food arrives. Soup appetizer came after entrees. The spinach/kale soup appetizer was very poor taste - all four of us agreed. Menu prices at restaurant higher than the prices shown on line - awkward as we chose the restaurant and our guests who were paying for their meals. Beet salad looked tiny when served on a large plate . Enjoyed the setting but disappointed overall.

I always enjoy this restaurant and even with the loud noise drunks next to us who left after 30 minutes we had a wonderful meal. I brought a good bottle of wine for Marco who always greets us with a smile. I hope they develop a solution to this noise problem. I love this place and want to keep coming.
