                                                                                  Service was great. The server and bartender were knowledgeable and courteous. However, the food was not great. Lobster risotto, cold. Green beans, raw as opposed to al dente. The fish, bland and tasteless. The salmon salad was a basic and largely without flavor. For the cost, or even half the cost, the food was not at all good. The drinks were good and the service as well. But I won't likely come back for just those.

                                                                                  Three discerning Swiss friends were my guests for lunch today. Everyone was very pleased with the whole experience - food, service, and the general vibe were wonderful and the restaurant is clearly firing on all cylinders. A true Nashville jewel for natives and visitors.

                                                                                  Always a great experience. Went for brunch. Four of us our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. Our coffee was hot and our breakfast was great.

                                                                                  Had an absolutely delicious meal from Midtown Cafe. They were highly recommended online and they did not disappoint. Food was great and hot when it arrived. I got the fried green tomatoes Benedict and it was amazing. Also tried the avocado toast and pancakes. All 10/10. Will return if I’m ever back in the area.

                                                                                  Midtown for breafast is excellent. Same for other meals. We are regulars and local. Midtown is locally owned, small and enjoyable. If you go to TPAC or SYMPHONY ride their bus after an early dinner. Bayard Walters

                                                                                  We're always asked if we have reservations when we go there; we never have any reservations about eating there! Staff is on point, food is always prepared as recommended, and they have an option to show appreciation to the kitchen staff as well!

                                                                                  I met an old friend. Based on the description, I thought it would be a tasteful Old Nashville experience. The only good about the experience was the Valet Parking. The hostess first pointed to a table across the room and said that was my table . When my guest arrived there was no host (no big deal). The menu is long but boring. We both decided on the shrimp and grits . No imput about the menu from the sever. Who was dressed with a black shirt NOT tucked in. Looking very sloppy for a restaurant at this price lever $$$ for lunch. Lousy service also. Saw the waiter twice. Shrimp and grits had been recommended in the description I had read. NO taste to them. They were to be blackened. They were not. They also wre not hot. The plates were though. The rest of the meal was uneventful, tasteless and bland. The tables are close together. I heard the conversations all around us. A bad expensive experience. The shrimp and grits were 27$ for a very small portion. Didn't matter they were tasteless.
