MichaelAngelos Coal Fire Brick Oven Restaurant & Lounge serving authentic Italian-American cuisine in the heart of Bronx Little Italy. Our restaurant has been a staple in the community for many years; serving Fordham University Students, Alumni's, Botanical Garden Guests, Community Leaders & among so many others we proudly welcome into our warm atmosphere.

Come enjoy our outdoor/indoor garden area where we also host many specials occasions, from graduations, weddings, baptisms, baby showers, birthdays, whatever the occasion calls for we assist in making it a happy one for you and your party from the planning, food and most importantly the service.

Private Rooms are also available to accommodate your special occasion. Where we can host intimate gatherings up to 150 people.

    The food was very good but the place was very, very loud. I could hardly gave a conversation with my mom and daughter and they were right next to me. The service was okay. My daughter, in her earlier 20’s loved it

    First timers on Arthur Ave and Michaelsngelo’s welcomed us like family. Friendly and attentive service and everything we ordered was delicious! The linguine clam sauce best I’ve ever had. Chicken parm and the fried meatballs other favorites. We love the way they welcome Fordham families. Will definitely return! Great dinner!

    Our favorite on Arthur Ave! Elizabeth is amazing. We have celebrated our son choosing Fordham, birthdays and more here and plan to do so for many more years.

    We love this restaurant! We happened upon it when we came to visit Fordham and now that my son will be attending in the fall we are looking forward to making many memories at Michaelangelos!

    We booked a reservation a while ago for 9 people on OpenTable for after Fordham's graduation. I called MichaelAngelo's two weeks before to check on a high chair. They told me they were not taking reservations through Open Table and they were completely booked through phone calls. MichaelAngelo's claimed that Open Table should not have been taking reservations for that day. They were not very nice on the phone and really didn't care that we had nowhere to go!! Therefore we had to scramble at the last minute to find a restaurant to celebrate my son's graduation. Luckily for us, Enzo's had a cancellation and they accommodated us. It was a fabulous meal and I highly recommend going to Enzo's on Arthur.

    Good food, but very slow service. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes for us to get our meals.

    Had a great meal before the orchid show at this restaurant. The calamari was tender and perfectly breaded, marinara sauce was amazing, we also had a salad and the penne vodka. Everything was great! They also have happy hour on weekdays until 8 pm!

    I come to this place all the time and always had good service and good food . But tonight I made it extra special made reservations for four people I normally just walk in but I wanted to make sure we got a nice table inside . We get to the place and we was told there is special event and restaurants area was closed and our table was upfront like where you order for takeout food! I asked why wasn’t we told this! She told me you booked through OpenTable not us and didn’t ask for a table in the restaurant ,all with an attitude! Smh ! It was 9pm at night we ended up staying with a huge disappointment at our normally good restaurant now with new host that doesn’t know how to speak to people ..

    I took my daughter and 3 young nieces to the NYBG Train Show and promised them a fun dinner in an authentic Italian restaurant afterwards. We were seated in an outdoor patio which had been covered up to allow dining in the winter - it was unattractive, the floor slanted, it was dank,and unappealing. They seemed short-staffed, but our waitress and bus boy did the best that they could. The food was good and we enjoyed it. After we finished and were about to leave, I went to the ladies room and promptly left. It was disgusting, dark, cold and I avoided touching anything before leaving. I’m sure if we’d been seated in the interior dining area, it would have been a much better experience.
