    My wife and I came in to celebrate our anniversary. The food was amazing! She had the angus steak she gave it a 9.7 only cause she doesn’t like cauliflower. I had the lobster enchiladas, they were good wish it had more lobster in it but overall 9.5. We also shared the margarita flight that was 9.8! Nothing special about the classic but the other two made up for it! Will definitely be coming back!

    To be completely honest, before visiting the Dallas location, I’d never been thoroughly impressed by the others. Mexican Sugar Uptown has really made an effort to uphold the standard/expectations, given the area. I’ve been twice now, and every food item has been very tasty. The pricing matches the quality, the ambience is exceptional, and the staff is welcoming. I’d recommend this to anyone wanting an upscale Tex-mex experience!

    The food and drinks were excellent! The restaurant is gorgeous! Such a cute spot! Our only issue was that the service was very slow. We were a group of 8 coming in on a Friday at 1:30. But the restaurant was not busy at all during that time. There were many open tables so I’m not sure the reasoning for the slowness. It may have just been a one off day. We will be back because everything else was great!
