Mother's Day brunch. Great food on fixed price special. Service was slow as the kitchen staff were overwhelmed with customers. Not a big deal as many apologies came our way even from the manager. We'll be back.

The hotel, museum, and restaurant are beautiful and unique. We were seated at exactly the time of our reservation. We all enjoyed our food so much, and we fell in love with the little potatoes you call home fries. Our server was a bit distracted and tentative (she forgot our drinks, got confused how to take my bacon back to get it cooked more without taking my whole plate), but she wasn't terrible. We were amazed at how reasonable the prices were for such a nice experience. In no small part, Metropole was responsible for helping me have one of the best Mother's Days ever!

An hour wait for bacon and eggs was disappointing. Other tables walked out. I know it’s Mothers Day but when we arrived - it was only half full. Not the same experience as a few years ago.

We were seated just before 9:45, our appetizer arrived within 10 minutes of ordering, but the rest of our food took an additional hour and 10 minutes to get there. I understand it is Mother’s Day which probably made it more busy than normal but tables with more members of their party were seated after us and for their food prior to our party receiving our meals. The waitress never cleared our table and we got one refill of coffee that had to be requested. The waitress who began our service didn’t even bring our final food or check. The food wasn’t bad, but the service and waitress not was less than desirable

Brought my mother for Mother's Day. Breakfast is her favorite meal. We ordered a la carte and it was just okay. It's hard though to judge eggs, breakfast meat and toast, especially when I can make it much cheaper at home. So, love the atmosphere and service, but this time at least, not a good value. I'll need to go for dinner to really judge and see how the new chef is.

The sweet potato pound cake dessert was delicious. For the meal we ordered the black eye peas ( too salty), roasted cabbage ( hard and difficult to eat), carrots ( were good).

I recently dined at The Metropole and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was cozy, the service impeccable, and the menu diverse. I had the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection, and the dessert, a chocolate lava cake, was divine. Highly recommend for a delightful dining experience.

First delivery of fish was cold. Limited menu. Service was superb while the food was disappointing.

The food took a bit long to arrive but was good. Noise level was very loud, it was difficult to have a conversation. Bread should be served with the meal not as a service at a price. We have eaten therein the past and been impressed, we were disappointed this visit.
