Paellas

Originating in its modern form in the mid-19th century near Lake Albufera, a lagoon in Valencia, on the east coast of Spain, Paella quickly became an iconic dish of Valencia and Spain in turn. According to tradition in Valencia, paella is cooked by men over an open fire, fueled by orange and pine branches along with pine cones. This produces an aromatic smoke which infuses the paella. My family and I have been there many times and usually enjoy ourselves thoroughly. Today the service was slow, but we could see them setting up for a wedding or two, so we assume they may just have been short staffed. Food was great & the service was nice, just slower than normal. Will still be back for more great tapas.

Everything about our Mother’s Day dinner was fantastic. Food was outstanding, our server Angela was tremendous. Highly recommend.

Meson Sabika is one of our favorite restaurants. Love everything about it. Today, the service was exceptional given the number of tables being served. Almost felt I was in Valencia where we have stayed several times for 6 weeks for work.

One of the worst meals we ever had. Maybe something has to do with prefixed menu for Mother’s Day brunch, but definitely 2/10. Will not return.

Food was ok but it just was not worth the price for what was served. Spent $600 for 4 (including tip) for the Mother's day brunch. (3 drinks each). The portion sizes were miniscule. Choices on cold tapas included..potato salad?? Come on.. that's not tapas.. that's a side item..another cold tapas choice was literally 2 pieces of cheese and 2 pieces of ham that was maybe an ounce. I had the braised short ribs with mashed potatoes. Maybe 5 ounce chunk of "pot roast " and a ice-cream scoop of flavorless, lukewarm mashed potatoes. Wife had the filet and it was maybe 5 ounces of meat as well. Server forgot the bread and desserts were a 20 minute wait.
