Established in 1987, Meson Don Felipe was the first Tapas Bar in London and we are still an independent, family-run business. You can expect great tapas and some amazing, well-priced Spanish wines, served in an authentic, relaxed atmosphere.
We have an outside terrace with heaters and umbrellas but of course, we can't promise the weather! If you book outside we can't guarantee a table inside if the weather changes.
For those unable to eat-in, we offer our famous Paellas for takeaway at lunchtime Monday-Friday.
Thank you for all your support and we look forward to welcoming you soon to this little bit of Spain in Waterloo.

One of my favourite places. Usually I’m here before or after a play at the Young Viv opposite and it’s always busy and buzzy, but this time I was meeting old friends I hadn’t seen in years on a Monday lunchtime and the restaurant was really quiet, which was perfect! So, that makes Meson Don Felipe even more a great place for whatever occasion. Great food and service as always!

I came with my two adult children to have a meal before the theatre -- we were served relatively quickly by cheerful staff and the food was delicious. We were eating quite early so it could well get noisier later, but it was fine at the time.

Fantastic tapas on bank holiday Monday. Tortilla was beautiful as were the croquettes. House wine was great

Another lovely evening at Don Felipe. The staff are so engaged and friendly and the food is fabulous.

Having visited on our previous London trip we took friends with us and had a fabulous meal. Service was excellent & the food was great. Will definitely be coming back on our next trip.

Because of the setup of the seatings, and space between bar and tables it was narrow. The restaurant inside, it was really loud, there was too much noise. I did not expect that. I was celebrating my anniversary with my partner and in space of 1 meter, we had to shout to each other instead of talking! Also, I've noticed, that you do it by bookings, and I'm glad for that enable to manage the flow of service and people.
