        Honestly, I was a little disappointed. The flavors were outstanding but the portions were really small. My son ordered the Fettuccine with Truffle Butter and the portion was so small he had to order another flatbread to be full. While I realize it’s a “tapas style” restaurant, they should make sure you know everything on the menu is tapas. I will say the Pork and Crawfish Dumplings were amazing and the service was exceptional. Just be prepared to order multiple dishes, if you’re really hungry!

        Delicious meal! Gumbo, fried chicken salad, bbq shrimp, corn bread were great. Great service! Highly recommend!

        I’m not embarrassed to say on a recent trip home I dined at Meril three nights in a row. Having grown up in NOLA and my dad a chef, I know quality when I see it. I came to Meril in 2019 and I have been dreaming of returning ever since. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! From the crispy shrimp tacos to the Parmesan fried chicken salad to the pork and crawfish dumplings, everything was incredible!!! Shout out to GM Marcus B and the entire staff for making me feel at home at home. I’ll be back(maybe not 3x in a row) but whenever I come back home, I’ll be sure to dine with you!

        We ordered small plates before our show at the Saenger. Everything was super yummy, but the pork and crawfish dumplings were our fave. That sauce! Lovely atmosphere! $14 for carrots is a bit much, but they were good!

        One of the most extraordinary restaurants in New Orleans. The food, drinks and service are consistently phenomenal. The restaurant was extremely busy last night but the entire staff worked as a team and ensured that we were taken care of. Extra recognition to the GM who always makes sure the dinning experience is an enjoyable one. If I could give 10 stars to Meril I would

        Friendly servers, large space, great food and attentive staff. Our only gripe was that as the restaurant filled up the noise level was loud which is fair enough, but we waited 1hr 15mins for our entree to arrive after having appetizers. Food was good, and at first glance doesn’t seem extensive, but there’s quite a large selection. The menu starts with “Snacks”, which I took to be appetizers, but you could double up on these and make them a meal. I shared shishito peppers, meatballs and fish dip with two people, followed by (a long wait for) veggie flatbread. The manager apologized for the long wait and said they had recently had a chef leave, etc.

        Our reservation was early on Sunday so wasn’t too lively in the restaurant yet however our servers treated us with the most respect and gave great recommendations. We sat at the counter, It was fun to see all the chefs prepping for their day ahead. All of our food and drinks were perfectly seasoned and plated.
