Anciennement le Metropolitan News Agency sur la rue Cypress, MERCURI 109 avec le Chef Joe Mercuri est un bar-à-manger de 23 places dans le quartier financier de Montréal. Notre objectif est d'offrir une expérience axée sur le plaisir et la satisfaction; un restaurant de fine cuisine où un sentiment d'intimité est ressenti dès que vous prenez place au bar de granit ou à l'une de nos deux tables en bois fabriquées à la main.

La passion et la curiosité (traits synonymes de la personnalité magnétique de Mercuri), prennent vie avec charme et esprit dans une cuisine qui reflète la mosaïque culturelle pour laquelle notre belle Montréal est célèbre.

This was an outstanding experience. Our table had the chef’s tasting menu, complete with recommended wine. Not only did all the dishes come out beautifully, they tasted even better. Try this place for a special evening with friends or loved ones, or with colleagues who love good food!

We tried the tasting menu, fresh ingredients and good ambiance. The service was good, although not incredible for the price. There were 6 courses, 3 of them 5 stars, the other 3 ok. Overall would recommend the place.

Possibly the best restaurant I have eaten at In the last few years. Chef Joe and his team are totally in sync, bringing his creations to a new level!!

Such an amazing and personal experience! They made me a tuna steak even though it wasn’t apart of the menu that evening! The waiter was very knowledgeable about his wines too!

Excellent culinary experience from beginning to end. The service was great, with lots of attention to detail. The restaurant is a cozy well appointed cool space with an great vibe ! Will definitely return !!!

The most unique dining experience of my life. The food was literal art and the vibe reminded me of my favourite bars from when I was younger. Thanks to the incredible team for making our night so memorable!

I had made reservations to sit at a table and we had sit at the bar. Not great when you’re expecting to sit and dine. The food was good and it was nice to see the chef cooking in front of us, but for the price we paid, you expect a better experience all together.

We apologize if the bar seating made the experience so unpleasant for you. We always try to accommodate our guests' preferences and there was no note in the reservation specifying the type of seating. Also, because the restaurant is conceived as a 'food bar' it is quite hard to accommodate last minute seating requests especially during a full-house service. We are though looking forward to hosting you again, this time at a seating of your choice, and hopefully resulting in a better rating.

Tasting menu is an absolute MUST. And if you can score a seat at the bar it’s incredibly entertaining to watch all of the precision that goes into each plate. Highly recommend!

La nourriture était impeccable. Chacun des plats étaient goûteux. Les portions étaient un peu petite, mais avec le menu dégustation à 5 services, le tout était bien équilibré et satisfaisant.

Wonderful experience! We were truly lucky to have come on a slow night and sat at the chef’s bar area overlooking the kitchen. Joe, M and his chef Alex have made a phenomenal tasting menu that must be tried, but we had the privilege of also being served every dish by them. Incredible… If you are looking for that place that isn’t only good but makes you feel special, this is the one! Thanks Marwan for the drinks and the tour. We will see you all again soon.

Finally. Spectacular food in downtown Montreal. Best salad and tuna that we can remember. So carefully thought out. Wonderful wine pairings. Laid back, cosy and everyone on staff ready and willing to please. Crazy dessert featuring sweet potatoes. Not expensive, as these things go.

An exquisite appetizer, marvelously combined. The sirloin was cooked to perfection. The dessert was somewhat ordinary to my taste. All in all, this is unequivocally a hidden gem in Montreal.

We arrived late on a Friday night to a warm welcome and were treated to one of the most original -- albeit simple -- meals we have had in a long time. The amuse bouche of braised lamb and ravioli was sublime, the salad full of crisp winter greens and the rigatoni just perfect: al dente and served with pancetta full of flavor. It's a fun and intimate setting. By the way, this meal was completely different from one we had a few weeks ago there. The chef is always inventing wonderful new things.
