A visit to Mera should refresh, recharge and de-stress our clients and function as an escape from the everyday. At Mera, the walls are not lined with flat-screen televisions, rather reclaimed wood, rustic brick, and simple stone.                       The service could have been much much better. Once the server takes your order, they don’t come back. I had gotten a hookah and I kept asking the server for change of coals. After almost harassing him, he changed it when the hookah burned out. I barely got to smoke the hookah.

                      Sat at the bar and had “Happy Hour “ small plates and drinks. The Cosmo was excellent as was the food. The bar tender was friendly and the whole place had a nice lo-key vibe. We were there early (6:30) I suspect it gets much noisier later.

                      Mera is an overall perfect date night restaurant if you want to have a good time your partner. It is a very intimate and dimly lit setting which is perfect for a date night. The food portions are generous and well seasoned. The DJ on Saturday had me dancing in my seat the whole time and played a variety of music.

                      It’s a nice place. Definitely do not go here for a first date though because you will not be able to hear one another. More a friends spot.

                      I was here having a celebratory dinner with some of my girls. I’ve been going to Mera since 2022 and it’s become one of my go to places. I’ve recommend it to numerous friends that it’s become a staple in our lives. From the food, service and the bartender Bloo (he’s so awesome) never a complaint.

                      Had to wait 30 minutes for a table I reserved weeks ago. I was told someone else by the same name stole it but she had a different last name and her table was too small for our group of 8. But other than that we had a great time w great food and hookah.

                      Use to be a great spot but it’s changed and for the worse. Service is non-existent and they include gratuity in your bill, even if you’re just 2 people. No problem with that but I had to flag down the hostess a total of 5 times to get service. $90 for a pitcher of watered down margaritas and it wasn’t even the flavor we asked for. To top it off I ordered a meze starter and it came with 3 large bowls: hummus, cheese spread, and sauce. This was to be shared for 2 and the sauces were large but we were served with one small basket of sliced triangle slices of pita bread for this. Needless to say the meze platter wasn’t even finished halfway when they removed it from the table. They added more tables to this establishment to serve more people when they don’t have the staffing to accommodate - stop being money hungry and go back to basics that made you popular in the first place. Will not be back nor will I be recommending it to anyone anymore.
