Don’t skip on the roasted chicken. It’s excellent. Also you can get a salad as a side and the portion is big enough to share.

This was our first time to Memoir. The entire experience was top notch. The ambience is casual but sophisticated. Our favs on the menu were the Carpaccio and their signature Memoir salad. Can’t wait to go back!!

My husband and I went to Memoir before a concert at CHI, I made bar top reservations via open table. This restaurant had such an elevated feel, we ordered a variety of appetizers off of the Happy Hour menu and split an entrée, the food was all incredibly delicious. The service was great, out bartender was attentive and knowledgeable. They were working on the outdoor patio which is unlike any other in Downtown Omaha, we will definitely be back to enjoy that once it is completed!

Biscuits & gravy, breakfast cocktails, and donut bites were perfect. The chicken biscuit isn’t something I’d order again as the chicken was dry, probably overcooked, and there was too much breading. The chicken also did not appear to be marinated in any seasoning whatsoever. The hash browns were a formed block of deep fried potato, similar to a McDonalds hash brown patty. Overall the food seemed out of character with the step-up level ambiance and decor Memoir is going for. Table server was exceptional however.

Love this new restaurant! Will be a great addition to the Old Market scene. We sat at the bar and that was fun. Ambience was lovely. My only comment was I wish they could have paced our meal a bit - we literally had our last bite of appetizers when our mains came! We will for sure be back as there was a lot more I would like to try.

Memoir staff is wonderful and professional. The food was great, with a beautiful and creative menu. My flat iron steak over sticky fried rice was seared and cooked perfectly, and the flavors of the vegetables in the rice melded perfectly for a deep flavor. The chimichurri added bright flavor and optics to the dish. The hazelnut dessert was rich and balanced out in flavor by the ice cream and in texture by the flakes. I was told they had been open only 82 days after my meal, but I wouldn't have guessed -- everything was flowing perfectly. Also, I loved the atmosphere, open concept kitchen and decor.

We waited forever to get a reservation at this stunning new restaurant, it was well worth it! It’s absolutely beautiful inside, the cocktails were fantastic and the food was delicious and artfully presented. Our server, Jake, was great, made sure we were well taken care of. (As we were sitting there I made another reservation!)

The ambiance at Memoir is second to none and is now easily one of my favorite dining rooms in Omaha. The food is also expertly-prepared upscale cuisine. I had fears about a restaurant trying to do more traditional New American fare alongside a sizeable sushi menu, but both the more traditional dishes and sushi dishes were excellent. We tried the flat iron steak, the trout, the beef carpaccio and the yellowtail sashimi and the yellowtail was a highlight out of 4 excellent dishes. The only caveat I would add: be mindful about trying to eat here as a pre-show meal. They did a fine job of accommodating our time constraint, but it's also clear they don't have a specific menu or process for handling diners who need to get out the door quickly for a show. We basically got all four of our plates (2 starters + 2 entrees) at the same time, which worked, but wasn't ideal.

We sat at the bar and enjoyed the pot stickers and tuna for appetizers. Both were amazing. Then we shared two fantastic sushi rolls. The bartender serving the wait staff was hustling and crushing it. The bar tender serving all the people around the bar was very slow. Once the next shift came in the service stepped up significantly. Highly recommend it. Very cool place with fantastic food.

Ordered the doughnuts as as starter, the chicken and biscuit sandwich was spicy and delicious. Pyro burger is top tier!!!!!

The experience was incredible from the time walking into the door, eating and dessert. The drinks were on point! Highly recommend!!

We loved the service, atmosphere, drinks and apps, but were a disappointed in the main courses we had. Overall it was good, but we may only come back during happy hour.
