As usual, Memento demonstrates its excellence. Food is creative and tasty. Service is impeccable. Our party of 3 ordered and ate tapas style to maximize the number of dishes we could sample. All were a big hit! Still fairly easy to secure a reservation despite the unusually good food experience provided. Just a matter of time before the restaurant gets really busy!

Just came with 4 people and everything was so so good. We shared the truffle fries, zaatar flatbread, millionaire tacos, tomato arugula salad for starters. Then we got a couple of the crispy chicken with curry and the pork chop and a bunch of cocktails. The food was so good that by the time I thought to take a photo, we had completely devoured everything. I'm not big on fries but the truffle fries were so seasoned, I wished that we ordered a second serving. The flatbread didn't skimp on the zaatar either. The crispy chicken curry dish was one of the most unique dishes I've had. It's hard to describe, instead of a polenta or a creamy grits base it was seasoned garbanzo beans like a ratatouille curry hummus mix. Something I'll try to replicate at home. Although we were all super full we pushed through and got the pandan cheesecake and some kind of chocolate mousse because we knew it was going to be delicious. It was the right choice even though I needed to roll myself out the front door. The service was great too. I will definitely come back especially for date night

Great new addition to Noe Valley. A fashionable bar/pub feel restaurant with great and unique mixed drinks - a bit on the pricey side. Food was well prepared, but a bit expected in terms of dishes, not stretching the foodie palette. Dishes seemed overly value-engineered in terms of portion, skimped on the fries for the burger - but great aioli. New restaurant, would expect more owner personality on a Sunday brunch, no owners present. The enthusiastic waiter, quick to explain the history and fill in in formation, made up the difference. Highly recommend this hip new addition to Noe Valley.

The food was so good! Since I’m a vegetarian, we had the shishito peppers, arugula salad, zatar flatbread, and beet rigatoni. All were beautifully prepared and incredibly tasty. Will need to go back to try the desert. I had the Memento Mori cocktail, and it was one of the best tasting cocktails I’ve ever had.

Delicious food in our neighborhood. There are not many high quality sit down restaurants in Noe Valley. Memento fills that need. Support the neighborhood and go!

My favorites were the delicious fried empanadas and portobello mushroom burger with truffle fries. Very friendly and attentive service and a lovely piece of happy birthday cheesecake and hb song for my friend! Thank you Memento!!

This has been an outstanding experience. We sat at the bar and ordered. - shishito peppers. Outstanding with an umami rich sauce - curry fried chicken - delicious - mussels - one of the best mussel dishes I have ever had - truffled fries - fantastic I cannot remember a better, tastier meal. 5 stars. Please come and support this restaurant. I want them to succeed. Noe Valley is the better for them being a part of this community! Outstanding. Also- a shout out to Alex behind the bar. He could not have been nicer! Wine was also outstanding!

This was our 3rd time visiting Memento and as always, everything was spot on. We tried the pork chop which was delicious and we always have to have the crispy curry chicken which is just full of flavor. The mussels were to die for and service was impeccable as always!! This has become our new favorite neighborhood spot.

My husband and I have been here several times and it gets better each time we go! The drinks are so refreshing and the food is amazing! My favorite is the curry chicken and the salmon tartar. Everyone is so nice and friendly. We can’t wait to come back!

My husband & I finally got to try Memento SF and everything has exceeded our expectations! From the delicious mouth watering menu, the top-notch service, to the warm & cozy ambiance, the entire experience was perfected! Everything we ordered was delicious! I went with my coworkers to eat in the city . Food was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were different and amazing. Staff was very friendly and treated us like royalty. I highly recommend the curry chicken and the mussels. Save some room for desert as their lime mousse and the flan are exceptional , we even order some flan to take home with us for later. The owners came and said hi to us and asked if we need anything so we felt welcomed. It was a pleasant experience and will be back for sure next time we are in the city .

A lovely neighborhood restaurant with excellent food and top notch service. The general menu is somewhat limited and needs more appetizers and a couple more entree choices, and the dessert options should be expanded, too. That said, we enjoyed a wonderful meal and we were very impressed with service.

Friendly staff but very overpriced for the quality and quantity of what was served. The three entrees we ordered took over 30 minutes to be served and were either way too salty (curry chicken dish which was an unusually thin slice of chicken), overcooked and bland (fish and chips) or just strange (small piece of virtually flavorless cod fish with grapefruit and mushrooms). Will not be returning unfortunately.

We take every review seriously and we'll be following up with our kitchen staff right away. regarding the quality, we actually use wild caught cod and all natural chicken so we use high quality ingredients but we understand that we're not for everyone.As far as your entrees go, you arrived at 6:35 pm and you ordered a starter which took 10 minutes, you finished your meal by 7:55 pm. We usually try and not rush our guests because it is about the experience and yours was less than an hour and a half. we typically give around one hour 45 minutes for parties of 3 or 4. We understand that you were in a rush and we accommodated you once you alerted the server. Thanks again for your feedback and for giving us a shot.

The food is delicious and the wait staff is attentive without being annoying. This is my second meal there and I’m a fan. The portobello burger was excellent with a generous portion of truffle fries too. I will order this again.

We went for our anniversary. The menu is small but there was something for everyone. The wait staff was very friendly. This small space is good for 2 people or a small group.

Great experience trying out memento. Loved the combination of flavors — empanadas, curry, beets and ricotta. Drinks were tasty and inventive, wine was good though would’ve been nice to have a regular spirit cocktail. Nice to have another strong restaurant in Noe. Will go again!

Nothing but great things to say about Memento! Noe Valley needed a great cocktail spot, and this is it! Every drink is a winner, and the food is amazing (the crispy curry chicken and the truffle fries are among my favorites). Fantastik dining experience from the moment we set foot in the restaurant. The innovative/creative drinks that they concoct are delish and fun. The starters were great. We had the Salmon Tartar and the Truffle Fries and the Fried Zuchinni. All outstanding. We had the Crispy Chicken Thighs and the Beet Ricotta Rigatoni. Both super delish. We ordered the Flan and the Lime Mousse and they were both lovely. Super cool proprietors.

It shouldn’t cost $30 for a basic vegetarian rigatoni. While I am glad I tried this neighborhood place, it is way too expensive and food they served does not merit the $$$ they charge. Plus service was mediocre. I will not be returning

Our prices reflect current food costs & are on par with most similar restaurants in San Francisco. Our prices are also listed on our website, social media, and every platform we are on. A fantastic find on a chilly night in SF. The owner tended bar and kept us entertained with fun conversation while serving up excellent food. Also - the 80s/90s playlist he curated was incredibly good.

Food and service were excellent. It is a lovely setting, but small - so it can get pretty noisy - especially if there is a large party (which there was both times we dined there).

Memento is a little gem of Noe Valley. Small, well thought-out menu, with a few vegetarian options. Well chosen wine list. But the best is the warm service. You will want to keep going back because it feels so welcoming!

It’s about time Noe Valley has a playful interesting restaurant. The staff is excellent and they attend to your every need. Go treat yourself to an amazing wine list and an even greater.

Memento is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The remodel is beautiful. The staff is friendly and attentive (occasionally too attentive). the food was a bit of a mixed bag. The mushroom burger with truffled fries was to die for good!! the first courses were less interesting although they sounded good. the salmon tartar despite the list of spices on the menu, was without much flavor. the crackers served with it were delicious. The arugula and tomato salad had a nice dressing but it had few tomatoes. Lastly I think the pricing is aggressive for food and especially for bottles of wine. I don’t quite see the pricing on my list of casual weeknight dining places. memento has only been open a few weeks so I think it needs time to develop. I will try again in a couple of months.

Great new gem of a restaurant we found this weekend. I was really impressed with the passion and quality here; the couple that created it really poured their heart into it and it shows. The food is great, the service was very attentive but not overly so, and they have done some amazing things with their cocktails considering it’s a beer/wine liquor license. They have a short menu but what they make, they make well. So many new restaurants take a while to ramp up but Memento is already great.

The restaurant is gorgeous. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. And the food was fantastic! We had amazing vegetarian meals. All of their creations are unique and beautiful as well as incredibly tasty. We will be back!!

Lovely space, but the menu lacks a cohesive theme and execution is subpar. The salmon was fine, but the accompanying mashed fava beans were unappetizing. The curry chicken was better, but the chicken was dry and the overall dish was a bit too salty. The french fries were great as were the empanada starters, though they could have used a sauce. Overall, I am always rooting for a neighborhood restaurant to succeed but this one needs some work in the kitchen.
