The name Melina is rooted in Greek origin and derives from the Greek word for "honey". "Mel" can be derived from the name Melissa meaning "honey-bee". The restaurant is named after the daughter of Co-Founder Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. “Melina” will honor the strength of the matriarchy in the Greek family. It will lean vegetable-forward with modernized Greek classics from the sea and grilled meats. Greek cuisine is all about freshness and quality of ingredients and that will be on display in a fine casual setting.

Specified indoor dining on our Rez which was pointless. They opened up all the walls/windows in the restaurant but there was no breeze coming to the tables where we were. Sweating profusely and asked about being moved. They offered us a table that was set back in a nook -- NO AIR. We asked the waitress is there were any other tables; she said No. We didn't make it past appetizers. What a great birthday celebrations. We past several empty tables as left. UPDATE: I contacted management; they refunded IN FULL. The food is terrific; we had a bad experience that they made right. We will be back.

I had an inside table to stay out of the summer heat. They had all the windows open including opening up the bar to outside. No air conditioning. Once on a while a nice breeze. The food took a bit long but understandable on Father’s Day I won’t come back in the summer

Phenomenal food, excellent service, great ambiance. Really just a lovely experience. Really, what’s better than high end Greek food?!

Food has always been fantastic, however this was the first time that service was incredibly slow and nonexistent.

The food was excellent. We had the tomato salad which was absolutely delicious and the braised short rib, which was equally so. We also had the chicken dish which was outstanding as well. Cannot fall the food. The service was excellent as well. We really enjoyed it. a nice restaurant and a nice neighborhood. It’s quite expensive but not overpriced.

We asked for syrup for the French toast as well as ketchup for the breakfast potatoes but they didn’t have any. The potatoes had no salt nor seasoning. The waitress offered us tzatziki for the potatoes which was a little better. The short ribs and creamy eggs were delicious.
