Enjoy Southern comfort food with a twist in a relaxing, casual setting at Melba's. Owner Melba Wilson opened its doors for locals and travelers alike to have a pleasant dining experience with great service. Fried catfish strips, barbecue short rib sliders and spring rolls filled with black-eyed peas and collard greens make delicious appetizers before feasting on the main course. Guests can choose from entrées like Melba's popular Southern fried chicken with eggnog waffles, which was a winner on Throwdown! with Bobby Flay, as well as pan-seared sea bass and the barbecue turkey meatloaf. This restaurant also serves hamburgers, lighter fare and sides such as candied yams.

Melba's offers catered business luncheons, receptions and more. Reservations are welcome, and takeout is available for guests.

I have not been to Melba's since 2008-2009. I see that it expanded which was awesome. It was loud but still very energetic and a happy vibe. The service was great. The food was excellent. My cousin and I enjoyed ourselves greatly. My cousin is a vegetarian and was so happy and thankful how great the meal was. I enjoyed the braised short beef ribs. So tender. The mashed potatoes and green delicious. We will be back. ☺️

The food was delicious. However, Melba's needs to add cornbread to the menu. Also, the bathroom situation is poor.

There seemed to be way to many people assigned to one waitress which resulted in long waits to place our order, and rushed attention when given The sight and feel of her physically running throughout the area to tend to customers was uncomfortable. The food was great.. but the requirements of having to stop eating talking and embracing my own first visit to Melba’s to sing Happy Birthday not once (but 3 times) to people whom were not part of my group, felt taxing

Went to celebrate son’s graduation. The staff was nice and cordial but everything was late. We had to wait 30 min to be seated and we had a reservation. Food was excellent. Restaurant was noisy.
