Great restaurant but service was slow! Not sure what happened but we had to wait 30+ minutes to have our order taken.

I like MEET because of the exclusive vegetarian menu. The cauliflower bites as an appy were excellent. Super tasty and though they were battered , not to oily and not over battered which was nice. I got a bowl that was good, and healthy, but not super mindblowing. Could have used more dressing and more greens . I think it was called a big yum or something like that My friend got a basic veggie burger and it was ok. Again nothing mindblowing. The frecnh fries looked amaxzing-- but didn't have great flavour.

I do love vegan food and restaurants, however, I wish that Meet had not changed their burger patty. They used to make it in house and it was phenomenal. It was made with vital wheat gluten and had a great texture. It seems they might be ordering in burgers prefabricated. It just isn’t the same. I know times are tough and costs are rising but I’m sure most people feel the same and miss that burger patty. The service is always wonderful though and I will continue to support this chain.

The good was great. We shared the chili, cauliflower bites, and the Main burger with added queso (half fries/half salad). Noah’s service was attentive and friendly. Although we had asked for a booth, they were saving them for larger parties, and seem to have placed other reservations at the banquette against the wall. It was a Tuesday evening and half of the tables remained vacant. The entire time we dined until we left. Food quality was exceptional, it was served piping hot from the kitchen, and presented nicely. The restaurant has a funky feeling with Edison light fixtures and a bare bones diner decor. Just a heads up for those with noise issues or hearing aids: the ambient level can be quite loud with 80s soft rock playing loud enough that you won’t be able to listen in on your neighbour’s conversation. The last time I was there there were speakers on the patio as well. This has been one of our favourite vegetarian places since they opened their first location on Main Street, and remains a regular haunt.

We had such a wonderful server. Food was amazing. The calamari and lemon tart was to die for.
