My family and I went there for mother's day because we enjoyed it so much last year unfortunately this year was a huge let down. The service was horrible! We got seated right away which was nice but then ended up waiting like 15 minutes before our server came over to us to take our order so we just sat there with no water, nothing as others were being attended to. After he took our order we then proceeded to sit there and wait an hour before our food showed up! That is totally unacceptable! If we hadn't asked I think we would have sat there even longer! And during that entire time do you think anyone came over to inform us of what was going on?! No, not one person came to our table to check in on us, refill our water, top off my coffee or asked if we wanted another cocktail! For the kind of money that we're shelling out to come to Mediterraneo I expect much better service than what we experienced on Mother's day! And it being Mother's Day is not an excuse for crappy service. Now, once our food did arrive it was piping hot, thank goodness, but again, our server did not once check to see to see how our food was and again, did not bother to see if we needed to be topped off with our drinks, yet another family got seated, served and attended to 100 times better than us and they were in and out, we were there from 12:45 pm - almost 4 pm all due to the extremely slow crappy service! We did talk to the manager and she removed the gratuity but really they need to go back and rethink this, as I'm sure we're not the only one's that day who got forgotten. It's a shame really because we had such a wonderful time last year but after all of this we will not be back for Mother's day next year, not worth it.

We went for Mothers Day brunch and atmosphere and food were good considering the pre-fix and the entire busy day, however the service was pretty awful , first they wanted to seat us at a table that was literally between two doorways , we asked for another table and from that point on we didn’t have a one server but several people came by to take our order , they didn’t offer any alcohol or gave us the menu! Until we asked … was bazaar since alcohol is a high profit items … one of the servers lost our dessert order …

We chose Mediterraneo for a special Mother's Day brunch, but it turned out to be a disappointing experience. The prefix menu offered one dish and one dessert, which seemed reasonable at first. Our waiter took our drink orders and then our food choices. I inquired about ordering additional dishes, as the portions seemed small, and was told he would check with the manager. Unfortunately, he never got back to us. The service was extremely slow, and our waiter was missing in action for most of the time. When our food finally arrived after a long wait, my spouse's dish had a 3-inch hair on the plate, which we had to send back immediately. My dish was completely cold, indicating it had been sitting on the counter for a while. After another 10-15 minutes, my spouse finally received her corrected dish, and only then did our drink orders arrive, well after the delayed food. The desserts were another letdown. The options we chose were dry and tasted store-bought; honestly, I would guess that a cake from a grocery store would have been better than what we were served. Overall, this brunch was absolutely unacceptable. I will not dine at Mediterraneo again, and I certainly cannot recommend it to others.

Beautiful setting, but food terrible. Fish overcooked and dry. Clams were small and few. Steak dry. We were charged for bread which they brought, as any high end restaurant would. Paid too much for what we got. Service was slow.

Our server, Jen, was extremely attentive and informative. She made our anniversary dinner a memorable experience for us. The ambiance was very romantic and the food was wonderful. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is having a special celebration.

Great dinner and the best service. Was very impressed with the server. She was super attentive without being annoying. Never felt rushed but she seemed to show up at the perfect time. Drinks were also great.

Very consistent food and good service. Do not go here if you want to have a quiet conversation the noise level is loud! It’s hard to hear people unless they are right next to you!

We had a wonderful dinner and the service and ambience was just perfect. Salmon cooked to perfection; not overcooked as fish often is. It was a lovely evening!

Service was great. Food was off. Little neck clams as an appetizer were too large, didn’t taste fresh and the sauce was bland. The branzino which is a favorite of mine was tasteless with no seasonings at all. I’ve eaten here many times but the food last night was not worth the high prices they command. .

The ambience was wonderful. Our waitress went far and above what we expected, even though we've been there before and knew it was going to be great. All the other servers, etc. were very thorough and helpful. It really was quite wonderful.

The food was very mediocre. Some items were okay, others were just not well-prepared or flavorful. My wife's meal was not prepared as requested. The service was not great either. We were handed silverware, argued with when our iced tea refills were sweetened, etc. Also, when we were first given the cloth napkins, someone must have washed them with towels or something else that shed. We were covered with lint. They gave us new napkins but no apologies. Overall, the atmosphere and location are nice but not a refined experience. For the price, we expected a lot more.

We had a delicious dinner. The bolognese pasta was cooked perfectly and the salmon was fresh and tender. The server made perfect suggestion for our wine too. She was informed and attentive. We shared an ice cream sundae to end the meal.So good!!!

Still one the best restaurants around. Service is warm and professional and food is delicious. You can see how the staff works together as a team. We love coming here! Parking can be an issue on weekends but valet line moves quickly.

We have been to Mediterraneo many times because of their high quality food and service. Celebrating my birthday was a special occasion we looked forward to. We requested our favorite table in the front patio by the fireplace. Arriving at the restaurant we were disappointed that we could not sit at our requested table due to a high volume of diners expected that evening. The entire room had 2 people eating at the time. We asked to speak to the manager who proceeded to lecture/scold us that she would make an exception just this once, but never again. We were seated at our special table. Then, our server approached us and informed us that we would have to submit our entire order, instead of drinks, appetizer, then entree as we normally like to do. She repeated the lecture we received from the manager about expecting a large crowd, so the chef wanted people to order this way. We felt rushed and uncomfortable. As it turned out, the room we ate in never filled up as they expected. There was no need to rush us. We left without anyone saying good bye. The host staff were too busy socializing to acknowledge our departure. Did not expect this from a class dinner house like this. At our favorite, Paul Martin Grill, we always get top notch treatment, food and service. We will probably not return to Mediterraneo. It saddens us to say this. Things have really changed for the worse.

Service was terrible. Waited a long time to place our order and then took even longer to get our food. Had to send my food back because it was poor quality. Had to track down a manager just to get someone to help us out. For what we paid, I expected much better service and food quality. Would not recommend.
