The heritage site of the old Saanich Municipal Hall, is where the Med Grill calls home.
At 100 years old, the building holds generations of memories and history which we proudly showcase in the hallways of our restaurant. Committed to serving our community, we have been a local Victoria favourite since we opened in 1997.
We carefully infused our style of chic yet cozy west-coast vibe with the delicious flavours of the Mediterranean.

                  Everyone really enjoyed their meal. We were celebrating a birthday so appreciated that we weren’t rushed. It was very busy and noisy to start with but gradually got better as the lunch crowd started clearing out.

                  The Med Grill has never disappointed! The menu offers great choices and I’ve never had a meal that wasn’t delicious. It’s definitely one of my favourite restaurants!

                  We arrived on time and had drinks to catch up with our dining partners and then ordered our meals. The seafood pasta was lacking seasoning so I asked for some Parmesan cheese and our waiter brought the powdered cheese shaker, when I asked for some grated cheese, he came back and said there would be a charge for it, when we complained, he sent the manager, and when she came over, she didn’t introduce herself she just said she would give the Parmesan “ this time” for free. When we were finished eating the waiter said the table was reserved for someone else and we needed to leave. For a 400$ table after drinks and food, we found the service could have been better and the issue with the cheese insanely ridicules!

                  After we were seated, we were given water immediately. When our friends arrived later, the wait staff gave us sufficient time to settle in before taking our food order. The food came to us quite quickly. We had a nice visit at a nice place!

                  The food was absolutely delicious. One of the best dollar to value ratios in the entire city. It was really quite energetic in the restaurant.

                  Beautiful restaurant, very good food. First time that I could not find parking in their small lot, on side streets, etc. I drove around until my friend found one and held it for me, stressful. Very loud when it is full so it is hard to chat until people leave.
